[12:00 PM EDT - No subject.]

How bizarre, I've always worked on this with the knowledge that this page is unknown, and that the comments I have made are protected by the fact that no one who actually reads this would know what the hell I'm talking about. Of course, the person formerly known as MJO did ask me if I cared (and in a fit of depression I said that I didn't), and after thinking about this for a bit.. I'm not too worried who does or doesn't read this. (Like my parents - woo boy) I should put a disclaimer on the bottom.. something to the effect of:

"The opinions expressed on this homepage are only the opinions expressed by the author, and do not reflect the opinions of any other sentient being in the universe unless otherwise stated."

Well.. whatever.

Today was another wet wet wet day.. I had to get up early and make it to school by 8:30 so that I could proctor the Spec exam. Last time I proctored, I thought that the exam started at 9:30.. heh. So this time I didn't want to be late. Funny enough, I got there right on time and was the second TA to get there.. blah, such is life. KAT apparently had an exam that day, and heckled Dr. Fisher and I while we were setting things up. So I decided to point and laugh at him after I was done. (I'd rather be proctoring than taking an exam - or marking.. eww!) What did surprise me tho, was seeing Mik Pintar walk into the gym. For one, that I actually recognized him, and two after checking the exams, that the Quantum Physics 2 exam was being held at the same time! After a bit of brain dredging, I remembered Growly mentioning something about Dirac notation, and harmonic oscillators in his journal. So I figure I should look for him during the exam.

In the mad rush of bodies racing to find an empty chair with an exam in front, I couldn't catch a glimpse of anyone, and even after the initial chaos had subsided, I didn't see him. Hmm.. maybe I was wrong. I went to the washroom for a little while and came back to find Growly, sitting at the front of his section. Plain as day, so I started wandering around his direction until he noticed me. Which he did, so I waved. That's enough with that. Three hours of boredom later, after the announcer tells the crew that

"There are ten minutes left in the exam. Will you please stay in your seats until the exam period ends at which point a proctor will take your exam."

A minute later, some dough head stands up and hands in his exam, then another, then another, until there is a flood of people dropping off their exams to us. People people people! Do you ever listen? And people wonder why order in our society is collapsing? Yeesh.

Then again, I may have imagined the announcer saying that. I've been wrong before.

Figured out a problem with the program that I was using for the LiH fits.. used an ad hoc correction to see if it could be fixed, and it seems.. okay. But it still doesn't run smoothly.. Gack.

I should say that Growly's comments on the Littleton Massacre are pretty bang on. Check em out for yourself. I have no more to say.

Oh geez, I've got to remember to ask TP if she can drive Growly and Sara back to TO with us.. (me forgots).

That's enough for now, I'm going home early today, I didn't get to make the Caesar salad last night, so I'm gonna try to get home early enough so that any distractions won't keep me out too late. I'll leave the stories I had from yesterday for some later date, but tomorrow.. better not rain, we're gonna have a BBQ!
