Geez, woke up late today.. probably had to do with the fact that I was playing Baldur's Gate till 3 last night. Groan. I also figured that I could spare a few minutes to check up on my characters this morning.. 2 hours later, I remembered the CGSS meeting that we were having today, so I rushed to school. Got to school late, but fortunately, it seemed as if only two people showed up for the meeting (so I don't feel so bad). Of course, this could have something to do with the general apathy of this department..
TRP came back to finish up the last couple of questions. Oh boy, and these were the big "bang your head against a wall" type questions. I didn't do too much weirDo did most of the work. I spent most of my free time catching up on e-mail and seeing how much more work I could get done (nearly nothing actually).
Well, got a message from my supervisor asking how things were going with LiH. Not too well actually, but I didn't say that. I still have some hope that something will pop up.. but I'm keeping all digits crossed..
Magnifica was pretty quick at responding to my mail.. I wonder what happened to the other messages I sent her. Gave me some advice about how not to stalk people. Good advice.
TRP also sent out a "thank you" e-mail to weirDo and I, and all of the other people who helped him get his degree (and anyone else he knew). He even attached a forward to that.. something about Barspeak.. I'll have to check it out later.
Another e-mail thing I got was from Lizard.. she asked me what she told ShadowWhyspr to ask me for her. (She had apparently forgotten) So I told her that ShadowWhyspr told me that she wanted to go out and watch a movie, and have a moonlight candlelight dinner, and walk along the beach afterward. (Ha!) I haven't gotten a response yet, but heck, I thought it was funny.
Just to get the rumour mill going, TG came by yet again, and this time, weirDo was around so after she passed by, I wondered if he had noticed. Apparently he had. So I'm glad I'm not the only one who's seeing these things. (very annoying to be the only one seeing things.. like office romances, frisky coworkers, little gremlins.. etc.). We probably shouldn't pick on him too much considering what he's gone through.. but come on! Nothing this interesting has happened up here in a long long time..
Went home early and played Baldur's Gate the rest of the afternoon (and most of the night). I could barely tear myself away from the game to come to school and make this update. Somehow, I don't think I'll be getting out much this weekend..
I'll leave that for today. I should catch up on the sleep that I missed out last night, so I'm gonna get going. Not too much happening on the computer front anyway. I think. Oh well.
