Rain rain go away, come again when I'm dead..
Yeesh, it was pretty grungy weather today. I had opened my window a bit last night to get some fresh air (it was kinda stuffy) but I forgot to close it before I wet to sleep. I only remembered about it when I woke up to a nice freezing breeze across my bed. *shiver*
I ended up playing Baldur's Gate again for a couple of hours last night. Geez, I really should stop playing so much.. But it's such a fun game. It's what Diablo should've been but Blizzard didn't have to guts to make a REAL RPG. Fun fun fun.. Found out that my Ranger can't dual to anything.. DOH! I guess I'll have a very smart ranger then..
When I tried to close the window after I woke up, I broke one of my nails. Fortunately it only bled inside the nail, so it didn't make too much of a mess, but it was quite annoying. Add that to the fact that I jammed my thumb nail into the bathroom lock after my shower, and you can see how annoyed I was at that point.
I don't know about you.. but I think there's some sort of time anomaly going on here down at Waterloo.. the days seem so much shorter, and it's always five PM before I know it..
After the workshop, GBC came on into my office and had this big grin on his face. It's the "I know something that you won't like but I'll have to tell it to you anyway" smile. Well, they (well actually GBC) hired a co-op student for the summer to do the web pages for the Chemistry faculty.. Okay, fine. Apparently they need an office. Okay, fine. They want my office.
*blink*
Uh.. Why? Cuz apparently they need the space. (For what? Web page filler??) *scratches head*. Well, this isn't set in stone yet, and everything is still up in the air, but I don't like how these events are starting to conspire against me. What, is fate trying to make another bitter person in the world? Yeesh. We'll see how things go..
That's about it. KNZ did come by, but I forgot the tapes. So apart from that, it was home and Baldur's Gate for the rest of the night. How pathetic. I just want to finish that game ASAP. Don't want to leave it lying around for me to pick up later, when I'm really busy..
Oh yeah, I've been thinking of picking up a new hard drive so that I don't have to use the clunky minimum install for the game. The one I was thinking of getting was the 10.2 GB Quantum Fireball EX. It was going for 269 at the Logic House two weeks ago, but it's 244 now! I like it!
