Happy April Fools!! (Or happy Fish day for the French) I think the weather's playing a joke on us.. it's been bad all day.
Checked Laz's site (which he's updated). It seems as if he liked the Matrix and recommends it. Seems like I know what I'll be watching this weekend (or next Tuesday). He also has a link about.. well, you've all heard about it, but check it out yourselves..
You guys should check out the CTRL-A page every now and then.. FlyingS, or KNZ have been updating it weekly with a little tidbit. Makes for an interesting read. Last weeks was a soap operaish recap of last week's events, which I thought was quite humourous. Anyway, check it out!
RHS's talk went pretty well. I think he got a good mark (probably better than me). We went out to the Grad House for food afterward.. well, weirDo was supposed to go with me and take RHS out, but his car was having some problems (he took his car in for a "routine" checkup yesterday. Amazingly at the same time as our final Molecular physics class.) and didn't make it in today. Amazingly, I was able to convince Dusty to join, and then GBC, and then Andrew and the other guy (forgot his name) from Peter's lab. After getting there, we bumped into Nate and Pete. Geez, I've always wondered how mobs tend to form.. I guess they just do huh?
Well, the food wasn't particularly good, and it wasn't exactly cheap, and the guy who served us wasn't particularly happy to be there, and when I picked up my (and RHS's) order, he wasn't very helpful. I got the chicken burger, and he got the chicken breast (in a bun). There were two plates on the table and they looked nearly the same. So I asked him what these were, and he told me. It's a chicken burger and a chicken breast. (Well, no duh!) So I asked him which was which. So he pointed to each one and snarled:
"That one is the chicken burger since it looks like a burger, and that one is the chicken breast since it looks like a breast."
Oh thank you for your help. Blah.
Heh, MJO asked me if I was leaving out anything from these daily entries and I told him "Yes". Ha.
