[9:32 AM EDT - It's the shoes. It must be the shoes.]

I was wondering why the car felt so rough this weekend, but this morning it rode fairly smooth. I recalled that I was wearing sandals all weekend and went back to my regular shoes today. Hmm, I guess because of the shoes, I push the pedals differently enough that the car just doesn't behave properly. I guess cars don't make the driver. Shoes do.

[9:49 AM EDT - Working out on your D&D character.]

I got a link on some workout regimens from girl. Interesting.

I was also invited to play some D&D next month with MasterStorm and crew.

[12:30 PM EDT - Squishy pictures.]

Hey, Squishy sent me a link on some pictures from her kayak trip. Looks like they had a really good time! (I liked the one with the kayak and the mountains in the background.)

[2:21 PM EDT - Sweet e-mail.]

You know, although I complain about having to do my e-mail and catching up on responding to messages, it's always good to get a nice message when you're down with the weather. *looks outside*

I got a message that my orthotics are ready. Just in time for the fall season! I'll have to make an appointment with the clinic at some time.

[11:21 PM EDT - Holy short notice.]

I just got word from Mr. Broomball that there was a broomball tournament in Rochester in November. That's only two months away! Err.. they expect us to be ready by then?

It's a pretty small tournament. Only eight teams, but we should get four games, and since it's men's non-contact, it should be pretty good..

[11:43 PM EDT - I found a penny.]

I went out to lunch with MCC (well, it was a pickup but at least I got out of the office). When I received my change, I was surprised to see that one of the pennies looked odd. On closer examination, it was fairly obvious that it wasn't Canadian coinage. Unfortunately, there wasn't any inscription on the penny denoting which country it was from, but the fact that it was a penny and the fact that Queen Elizabeth II was on the portrait side indicated that it was from one of the British colonies. I suggested that it was probably from Great Britain since the British didn't really have to tell the rest of the world what their money was since it should be "obvious". *shrug*

Lo and behold, I found a few links on the penny I found. There's a picture here, some history here, and some statistics here.
