[12:47 AM EDT - It's the ATI S1-370 TL.]

I was trying to figure out what this chipset was. I found out the name (I think) but I can't find any manuals for it. Now all I need to do is to test it.

I've given up installing XP on the C300A and threw on Win2000 instead. Once I've finished updating the OS, I'll start looking at setting up the other machines. I'll probably try to put together a server using the 2GB HD I got from AV matched with a 240MB HD for the swap drive. The 1GB drive then can be used for a Windows machine once I combine it with two of the 200MB drives. (It's not much, but they only want to "play" with it.)

Oh wait. I've actually got to test these drives too don't I? Crap.

[12:48 AM EDT - Hockey too.]

Oh yeah, I went to play hockey as well. I didn't play all that well, but I really didn't need to this game.

[11:50 AM EDT - Playing with the Wookies.]

I've been sequestered to play with the Wookies today. LY phoned me up and told me that they needed guys to play, and since it was at a closer field than the ninjastars game (and it was at the same time) I might be more interested in playing with them since the ninjastars will probably have a cast of thousands. Hmm.. I decided to accept the offer even though I remembered that I was going out tonight, which meant that if I run around a lot, I'd actually have to take a shower.

<- sniffs.

Well, I guess I should take a shower even if I didn't run around a lot. *grabs shirt*

[11:56 AM EDT - Hockey car comments.]

I've been updating my C300A and server this morning (and last night too actually). I started reading Douglas Coupland's book "Microserfs". It's quite an interesting read so far I should ask KGL how close it is to reality.

I forgot to mention the reactions when I told some of the hockey folks that I was getting a new car. It didn't take long for them to figure out what I was getting after a couple of hints. BL asked me why I picked that car and exclaimed that it was a "chick car". KC called it a "chick magnet" and wanted to drive it. I just looked at her funny. KK asked me if I was going through a mid-life crisis or something. Frick, if I was, I'd be dead before I'm 60. Not something to look forward to.

[12:03 PM EDT - Time to test?]

I'm not sure if I'll have time to test out that motherboard or not. I need to get a hair cut, and I need to find out where that game is. I think I finally came up with something to write for the card since I couldn't find any cards that really fit, and I still have that entry to write.

On top of that, I've got to pool together over thirty grand in the next two days. Oh hurrah.

[12:07 PM EDT - No wookies for me.]

Wha..? I just got a call from LY that the Wookie game might've been mis-scheduled. I'm really confused. Well, I guess I'll be heading to the ninjastars game after all! Strange thing is, he called my cell the first time and then my house line the second. Consistancy people!

[5:45 PM EDT - Naw.. that would be yet another coincidence.]

So, I got my hair cut. I went to the barber near the house. It wasn't bad. They were fast and I didn't look like I had a fight with the lawnmower, which is good.

I didn't have much time to do anything other than head down to the game. I got there early (for the game) and late (for practice). But since nobody showed up for practice, I was not really late. One thing bothered me though, on the field, I could've sworn I saw someone who looked exactly like Squishy! Am I having yet another one of those "Squishy everywhere" events? *looks again* Naw, that's impossible. *looks*

You know, I really should've checked. Really. But I'll find out later I guess. This is going to bother me for a while.

[6:30 PM EDT - A bit more testing.]

I was able to get a bit more testing in tonight. It seems as if the mysterious board was using a C533 processor, and sucks up 16MB of the RAM for the video card. Not exactly a powerful machine, but useful for the realtives, and/or non-CPU/video intensive programs.

I was also able to get the BH6 up and running. It seems as if I forgot to hook up the power link, which would explain why it didn't turn on when I hit the power button. *blushes*
