[9:40 AM EDT - It was a dark and stormy day..]

Yada yada yada. Isabel is supposed to hit us later today, but the rains are already faling pretty hard and the wind is starting to pick up. I'm just a little worried that a blackout will take down the server, but there isn't much I can do about that is there? Hopefully I'll be able to catch up on work and some chores I needed to do, but we'll see what the day brings.

[9:49 AM EDT - Laptop elbow and HW2LP.]

Hmm, my left elbow's been bothering me for the past few months. I'm guessing that it's because of the way I rest my arms when I'm working on my laptop. Because the keyboards slightly raised, I can't rest my entire arm against the table, so it's basically just my elbow that't taking the brunt of the weight. My right arm does a lot of mousing so I get to move it around a fair bit, but the left one just sits in place. Hmm.. fortunately I'm right handed..

So tonight, LY wants to set up a Homeworld 2 LAN Party. Anyone interested?

I think my old age is slowly stating to show. I went to the washroom to brush my teeth and shave, but my mind was trying to process both of those actions so I ended up pulling out some floss. As I was getting ready to clean my teeth, I looked at myself in the mirror and thought to myself,

"Something doesn't look right here."

Indeed, something didn't.

I've been doing stuff like that more and more often. Whenever I have two thoughts in my head, my brain decides to compress and compromise and I end up with something completely unnesessary. For example, there was a day I wanted to wash my face and was thinking of having my hair cut, so I absentmindedly started pouring shampoo into my hand over the sink. Argh, what a waste!

[9:56 AM EDT - I think I mentioned singles before.]

Hey, I this has come up a few times recently, but someone was wondering why I was still single. He was telling me,

"Why don't you go out with someone at work?"

Uhh.. no. *looks in room* Definitely no.

On a side note, anyone want to see 'Lost in Translation'?

And before I forget, I had a dream involving Squishy several nights ago. I can't remember what it was about, but I do remember it being sad.

[11:11 AM EDT - I like this music!]

Hey, this is really good music LY's got here. I've got a bunch of these already, but that's only a very small fraction of what he's got.

<- continues to listen on single ear headphone.

Oh, I'm trying to replace all &s with &, but I haven't figured a way to do it while ignoring those that have been done already. I have an idea though, so I'll test it out when I have more time.

[11:44 AM EDT - Sorry, no sugar.]

What the.. I just realized that I didn't have any sugar in my survival stash! What the hey? I guess I don't usually add any sugar to my food, so I didn't find the need to have to keep any on hand, but I guess it's hand to have some just in case. (Besides, sugar keeps right?)

Oh yeah, I've got some shopping to do. *looks out window* Hmm..

[1:21 PM EDT - Johnny went there too!]

A bunch of us went to Johnny's Hamburgers for lunch. I found out that MS also went to WCI! Crap, time to crack open that yearbook..

[1:34 PM EDT - So that's the difference.]

I ended up installing MSN Messenger 6 and was confused as to why both it and the old version were still running together. It took me a while before I realized that I needed to go through the Windows components to remove the old version of Messenger.

[6:19 PM EDT - Finally the end.]

Well, that was just enough to get me over the hump. Even this great music was barely keeping me functional! I'm glad I stuck it out since the solutions, as always, are simple even though the problems seem so complex. *shakes head*

I think it's time for me to go home.

[10:55 PM EDT - Corrupt installation file.]

I went shopping after work today. I needed to pick up Homeworld 2 and I wanted to look for some CDs. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any CDs nor did I find any copies of Homeworld 2 at the first spot but I did see copies of 24 Season 2 up for sale..

*yoink*

I was surprised when the girl at the counter told me that they weren't taking the Aeroplan card anymore. Actually, I probably shouldn't be surprised since Air Canada did declare bankruptcy.

I went somewhere else to do some more CD shopping (still no avail) and picked up a copy of the game.

I got home and watched a couple episodes of 24 and then proceeded to install Homeworld 2. Unfortunately, I kept getting this read error when I started installing the game. It seems that my CD-ROM can't read that part of the CD or I got a bad copy. This is the first time I've ever had this problem. I guess I'll have to bring it back tomorrow and get it replaced. Until then, I guess I'll be able to sleep tonight..
