[12:40 AM EDT - Yucky.]

Ugh. I was too bothered by the fact that I had code that was sort of half in so I wanted to see if I could get the link replacement script working. It works, and now the style changes will hold, but it is, as they say, inelegant.

Maybe I should just drop all of the backwards compatability and only use specs? *rubs chin*

[11:23 PM EDT - Forgetting accidents.]

It was chilly this morning. In fact, it was so chilly that I broke down and wore my jean jacket to work today. I guess it's autumn. Unfortunately, I forgot my jacket at the office when I left. It was warmer so I didn't notice until it was too late. Oh well, it should still be there when I get back on Monday.

I had planned on getting a haircut today, but when I went to the barbershop near my house, it was closed! (It closed at seven, and I got there at seven-thirty.) Curses! *shakes fist* I guess I'll have to get it cut tomorrow or maybe Sunday.

I got my tires pumped with air. All of them were running about the same except for that one tire I got fixed last month which was still at full capacity. Gas was pretty cheap, but I still had lots of gas, so I figured that I'd fill up with gas after I come back from ET's place.

Oh yeah, I went to ET's place to check out that table she wanted to get rid of. I got a little more than I bargained for actually, but first of all, as I was driving to their place, I came across a fresh accident. The horns from both cars involved in the head-on collision were still blaring so I decided to stop to see if I could help. Both people looked okay, and a couple of plainsclothes policemen were already on the scene so I didn't think I could add anything. That and the fact that I left my bum bag at home didn't help matters, so when the cops arrived, I took off.

So yeah, I went to ET's place and looked at the table. It's HEAVY. I guess I won't have to worry about people running off with it. So I hung around and checked out their place, and AV showed me a whole bunch of stuff and eventually mentioned that he had a P200 MMX lying around. *ears perk up* Oh?

So now I'm a proud owner of yet another P200 MMX machine. I keep talking about putting together a Beowulf cluster, but really, with the amount of time I have on hand, I highly doubt that project will ever fly. I can, however, put together some small machines for a couple of relatives to play around with.. (Once I get my server upgraded that is.) I also got a book to read for the next week or so. This should be good.
