So, I should be picking up the car today. Wow, I still can't believe that. A new car. A car with (supposedly) no problems. A car which I don't have to worry about. A car which I'll actually have to take care of.
A new car.
This begs the question: Did I just pay the money to get the car to get the girls? (Mind you, all of the girls who I've told about this car already have significant others, so my guess would be no..)

What the.. I just found an executable file on my laptop with the title Britney_Spears_Madonna_Kiss.exe. Ick, how the heck did it get there, and who put it on there? I'm a little worried about viruses now.. (Computer ones that is.)

Okay, it seems like I'll be having brunch with Dangerman and crew on Sunday at the HotHouse Cafe. Hopefully it won't conflict with my ultimate game (whenever that is).

I went to certify my cheque at the bank today, and was told that I could only do it at my home branch. The teller offered to write up a bank draft for me but I declined since the invoice specified a certified cheque.
It took me a while to make it to my home branch since it was a bit out of the way, but I got there and got in line. When I finally came to an open teller, she told me that I should probably get the bank draft since it was cheaper. I told her to certify my cheque anyway.
While she was working on my cheque, I asked her what the difference between a certified cheque and a bank draft was. The difference? Price. Bank drafts are a lot cheaper than certified cheques, and apart from that, there was no difference. What the..? Why was it more expensive? Apparently it's more work to certify a cheque than to make a bank draft, considering that my signature has changed over time I had to resign the thing twice before they accepted my signature. The supervisor suggested that I come in to resign the signature card whenever I have the chance. Great.
I also asked why people would ask for certified cheques when bank drafts were the same thing. "It's a generational thing" she replied. Oh.
When I went to pick up the car, I asked the salesperson if I could've brought a bank draft. He told me that I could have. Curses! *shakes fist*
