Okay, I had all the time in the world yesterday but I forgot to start upgrading to XP. Whatever, I'll get around to it eventually.
I should throw up a couple of links I forgot to mention as well. girl sent a couple on Japan's infamous Article 9 and the discussions on it. I'm going to taking a computer desk off of ET's hands. GK is looking for a new home for a three year old orange tabby or he'll have to be put down. Also the ninjastars are putting together a fall ultimate team.

Okay, before I become too disenchanted by the enormity of this project (which is probably a pittance compared to the amount of time it will take to do my summary project) I should set some sort of timeline. Hmm..
Then there's the idea of throwing on a spell checker on this entry form as well. *rubs chin* I'll have to look at that.
Until then, I'll throw up more links that I came across. One has translations to a couple of the LoGH books. It seems as if the anime is pretty close when it comes to following the story (and dialogue) but the novels are much better at describing the emotions and thoughts of the the characters. Then there's the direct cable connection in XP if ever I want to hook up my 286 for who knows what reason. Finally a link to the cgi spell checker I'm thinking of using.

Hmm, I'm trying a little experiment here. Apparently these two sites (BaysandCo and Brundel Bites) both don't show up on search engines. I want to see how long it sits here before appearing on say.. Google.

I just got back from EL's place. He donated several computers to me to play around with as well as a laser printer. I checked them out and they're all lacking hard drives. However, this is what I got: 386 with 8MB RAM, 486 DX2@66MHz with 16MB RAM, P133S with 32MB RAM, and a P133S with 50MB RAM. Even if I can't get them running again, I can still use the memory and heatsink/fan from the Pentiums on my current two Linux servers. One of the motherboards even has six SIMM slots! I'll have to see if they're all actually usable. (Which would mean I'll have access to 96MB RAM!)
Needless to say, my spell checking project will be put on hold for a little while.
