[11:24 AM EDT - Reconciliation.]

Hey, now that I've started to understand the concept of reconciliation, I started reconciling my books. It's a handly little feature expecially if you write a lot of cheques (which I don't).

[1:49 PM EDT - Uncashed.]

Umm, after reconciling my accounts, I found out that I had three cheques that haven't been cashed yet. Hmm.. I'll have to track them down and/or have them canceled. Actually, doesn't it cost money to cancel a cheque?

Anyway, while I was eating breakfast, I heard a loud roar coming from outside. I recognized the sound, and remembering that the air show was taking place this weekend, I rushed outside to stare into the overcast sky. In the distance, I could see two CF-18s heading south towards the exhibition grounds. My, I'm glad I caught that. (I didn't even have to go downtown for it!) I heard similar roars later, but I couldn't see anything in the sky.

[4:01 PM EDT - New blade.]

Yay! I got a new blade and cap for my razor so I can now be clean shaven when I go to work tomorrow. Guys like me probably shouldn't be allowed to walk around in public with facial hair. *looks in mirror*

[5:30 PM EDT - Cleaning up.]

Well, since I've got a bit of time, I figure it's high time to clean up some of this mess around here. I've got some cravats to fold, and some garbage to dump. I've cleaned up the computer room a bit. The Debian box is now cleaned up and ready to go. I couldn't find an extra power cable for the 5.25" drive, but it's not like I'll be using it huh?

I forgot to mention that HKL dropped off a couple of DVDs on Saturday. (Or was it Sunday?)

Oh yeah, I'm running out of ports again but apparently I'll be getting my old router back so that should keep me in business for a little while..

[9:16 PM EDT - Missing targets.]

Umm.. I think I've been falling behind in keeping up with web standards, but when did the TARGET attribute get knocked off the list of usable attributes? I found this while looking for a way for a pop up window, opened by two separate windows, to work only on the last window (it currently acts on the first one).

Anyway, if this is the case, I've got some issues with all of my pop up windows..

[10:03 PM EDT - Getting tired.]

Man, I've been feeling really tired this whole week. Where did all of my energy go? I guess it'll be time for me to go to sleep soon..

[10:33 PM EDT - Why am I receiving so much?]

Man, that receiving light keeps blinking on my cable modem despite the fact that I'm not actually transfering any information over it. (The sending light never comes on.) And it's not like it's hitting any of my computers since none of the other lights are going off.

It's as if some yahoo's sending packets to all of the machines on this network. (Maybe a bunch of yahoos.) In any case, it might explain why my bandwidth is never as good as it could be. There really isn't much I can do about that though is there?

[11:04 PM EDT - No IE onUnload.]

Strange, IE's stopped using the onUnload attribute whenever the window is closed. I guess that helps with those crazy pop ups, but that's broken a couple of my automatic updating scripts! Argh! Wait.. oh, I think I've got a way around it.. (although this means those crazy pop ups will still be popping up with a simple change of code..)
