Now that I'm downloading some stuff, my thuroughput is really small. This makes it a little difficult to check mail, but it's the same as if it was late afternoon when the network grinds to a halt.
The air conditioning in the building has been ratcheted down a few notches. Since our window gets sun in the morning, it was pretty warm in the office when I got in. Fortunately, we still had those fans from our old building, so I'm putting one to good use. Hey, don't look at me like that. We've got some women here who use heaters in their desks because the air conditioning is too cold! At least in my situation, there's only so much clothing you can take off in an office environment..

Argh! I lost that entry. I must've previewed it without actually submitting it. Curses! Anyway, here I am back at work (as it seems so obvious now with the other entries) and I've got a lot of work to catch up on.
On the way into work, I saw an old early 90's style Civic hatchback roll past me. What caught my eye was the angle that the windshield wiper (there was only one) made on the windshield. It was at the same angle as my wiper! Yeah! Monowipers rule! *pumps fist*

What the.. It's already four? Yikes! I've been doing a bit of work here and there, but it didn't seem like things were going that quickly. Ouch. LC came by the office today. First time apparently, which is a little surprising. (That would mean that I hadn't seen her all summer!) But anyway, when I mentioned the poster, she was like "what poster?" Uh huh. *nods head*
Anyway, hopefully I'll be finishing up some of my downloads today and getting them off my hard drive. I can't wait until this is all over!
Oh yeah, I've been invited out to go roller blading this weekend! Methinks it's a good idea don't you?
Darned connection is too slow to respond to e-mail though. Well, I can, it's just that any edits I make will take a long long time, so I don't want to bother until I get back home. Annoying!
