[12:24 AM EDT - It's a bit of a stretch.]

Now that I've got that washing hands with soap thing going..

Let me digress for a moment. When I was at the BBQ on Sunday, I saw one of my second cousins washing his hands. It was so funny watching him because he didn't move his fingers. It was as if he had two prosthesis's attached to his arms and was trying to wash them with soap. Man, I wonder if I had any dexterity when I was his age.

Anyway, so back to this soap thing. Since I've been setting myself up to get into the habit of using soap in the public washrooms, I wanted to start up another good habit. I want to start stretching before playing games. Currently, I don't. Nada, zip, zilch, nil. After this afternoon's talk, and seeing my other second cousin's contortionistlike abilities, I realized that I needed to do something. I came across an article before about stretching not necessarily helping prevent injury, but it should at least improve my flexability. Considering that I'm always stiff as a board, any little bit of improvement will be nice. So, the plan is to stretch. Stretch! *stretches*

Ooh.. that felt good!

[11:14 AM EDT - Yet another nice day.]

We've been getting a lot of really nice weather lately. Actually, I'm quite glad we had good weather during the blackout or it would've been quite miserable all around. (Imagine this happening during a blizzard? Ouch!)

So it seems as if I've got some stuff to do this week. Time to make time..

[11:02 PM EDT - Hot bike and humid finances.]

Man, yet another day without air conditioning. It's starting to remind me of my university days! *wipes brow* The heat and humidty is exaserbated by the fact that I've had my computers running 24/7 for the past few days. It really killed Yavin because when I tried to open up the CD tray, it didn't even register the device anymore! (I had problems with that CD-RW since it would not be able to write CDs if the computer was on for a while. I guess this is what happens if the computer's on for a LONG while.)

Anyway, I found out that girl's got access to another adult bike. That means.. we have four adult bikes! *rubs hands gleefully* Another biking trip perhaps? Sunday maybe? (Funny that we suddenly start thinking of biking excursions when allergy season hits full force. *sneezes*)

ET came over to teach me how to do the financing. Well, we basically found out that the finances were in a bit of a mess, but nothing we couldn't handle! What the.. 1903? I think some of these dates are wrong..

I should be finished downloading just about all of the LoGH I was assigned. I've got three streams left and two should be finished by tomorrow. Hopefully I'll be able to turn my computer off tomorrow night. (And give my poor ears a rest!)

Once I've finished with that, I'll be downloading the rest of the Debian images. so that I can set up my spare Pentium. What I'll do with it I don't know.. maybe a phost machine? A backup web server? An FTP server? Actually, an FTP server sounds ideal. It should be isolated from the other machines so if anyone does break in, they won't get access to the rest of the network, or any of the critical machines. It should also free up my mail server for mail rather than files that I wanted to send back to the house.

I'm thinking of setting up some sort of POP server so I won't have to log in every day into my box. (A web based e-mail client?) Ideas abound!

There's still the idea of getting a new system. Actually, I think I can hold out for a couple of months. It's not like I have a lot of time to play games, and the longer I hold out, the longer I can wait, and the more time I can put into "productive" quests.

Speaking of quests, I finished the Tron 2.0 demo. It's actually quite cool. It should be a fun game. It sort of reminds me of System Shock.
