I've been looking at the hardware that's available out there right now. I haven't been keeping up with hardware trends since my "I got all the time in the world to surf for the best deals" days back in grad school, but I still have some avenues to explore. I'm looking at the P4 2.4C GHz CPU with 512 DDR 400 RAM on a MSI Neo2-LS motherboard.

I got word from Mr. Broomball that the Cleveland broomball tournament might be postponed. That would be annoying, although I haven't actually made any plans because of this possibility. We'll see how things go.
Oh yeah, LY came by and dropped a set of SIMMs on my desk. Apparently they don't have any place to use them.. *rubs hands gleefully*

This all started off as a little joke, but LY remembered the conversation pretty well:
DWC: I'm against karaoke.
ZanZan: How come?
DWC: I play in a band.
LY: ZanZan can sing DWC can sing too...Pokey can sing too! Hey, we should all go to karaoke!

ZanZan: Are you for real?!?!
LY: Errr...yea - of course I'm for real!
ZanZan: Okay, let's go.
Pokey: Yeah let's go!!!
MH: Where do you want to go? I want to sing Air Supply!!!
Pokey, ZanZan, LY: Twister! They've got all the cool new English songs!!!
DWC: I gotta work tomorrow.
QYV: Me too, but I can go for a bit.
ZanZan: Yeah, I'll go for an hour.
DWC: An hour? I can handle an hour.
LY: You guys are joking right?
ZanZan: No, serious! Let's go! I've only been to karaoke 5 times before...

I went to ultimate tonight and we had our usual complement of thousands show up. I took it easy though, and the game was pretty good.
After the game, a bunch of us (LY, Pokey, MH, ZanZan, ALC, ASH, DWC. and I) went out for dinner. During our meal, the topic of singing came up, which led to karaoke, which led to..
So how the heck did I get dragged into this? ASH was the only one who decided not to join, but the rest of us headed out to do some singing.
Uhh.. I really don't know what to add other than the pictures and videos say more than I could ever say here. So, I'll leave it at that. I must say though, the guys I went were fairly good singers. I was probably the worst (or second worst) of the bunch.
We were having so much fun, (I must admit that I did have fun) that when I looked at my watch, it was already one. We had planned for an hour and ended up going WAY overtime. I didn't get to sleep until way past two-thirty. I'm amazed that I even made it in to work nearly on time..
