What the.. I upgraded my kernel today, but when I was trying to make a new boot disk, the system couldn't find the floppy. When I checked the CMOS, it was there, but it didn't seem to try to boot from it. Odd, did I forget to hook up a cable or something? That would've been bad if the kernel upgrade failed. I don't have time to check it now. I'll take a look at it after I come back.

I went to ultimate practice, and about eight people were there, so we had a scrimmage. The regulars LY, BMH and KW didn't show up so we didn't go out to lunch. I went home, and along the way stopped off at the grocery store. Inside, half of the shelves were barren, and that reminded me of something my mom told me. That the grocery store was closing down. That's really too bad. I usually shop there for my groceries. Where am I going to go now?
On the way back home, I decided to take the eastern route. That was a poor choice. Halfway up, a police cruiser had blocked off the road and was detouring traffic around one the intersections. Unfortunately, I continued going east (I should've went west) and ended up taking the long route home.
