Well, I got back from hockey a little while ago. The game was okay. I thought the game was a little lopsided now that everyone from our team is basically back. It makes a huge difference when your defencemen return to play (apparently nobody was playing defence last week).
I had a little trouble getting my right food into my skate (after last week's kicking lesson I burst a number of capillaries and a vein), but apart from that, it was all good.

Hmm.. my dad got a promotional thing from Sonic Networks and was wondering if I wanted to sign up. Hmm.. it IS cheaper, but I'm pretty happy with my semi-static IP address right now, although the speed isn't as good as it probably could be. (It slows down a lot in the late afternoon/evening.) I'll have to think about it since if their DHCP is more dynamic than what I've got now (which is virtually static) then I'll have issues with e-mail and other stuff, which is bad.

I've been pretty slow with keeping up with my e-mail so I'll dump some links here. Werdna's thrown up some picture from last week's events. (Only three, but hey, it's still better than nothing right?)
There were also some promotional sales that were sent my way. HT sent me a couple of links. One was for some free digital prints from Futureshop, and some restaurant deals. Hmm, good idea for a date huh? (Or a family outing?) I also got word from RW of another friends and family sale at the Nike store downtown from the 4th to the 8th.
TDW's got a couple of shows coming up. The next one is on Monday methinks.
While I'm still here, PRQ has had way too much time on his hands and started writing a little story called "So Cut to Pieces". If you're not on the team (or a ninjastars) you won't get any of the jokes. But anyway, this boy has way too much time on his hands. Find him a girlfriend! (How about that dangerous blonde with the bruise on her knee? *wiggles eyebrows*)

I found three interesting articles on the ShackNews. One was also posted on ArsTechnica. The double mention was this story about some kid who used his camera phone to take pictures of his would-be abductor. The other two stories are about "natural" infidelity (I found the survey anonymity aspect interesting) and the F/A 22.

I've been spending most of my day working on my scripts getting them to work a little better without javascript. (As well as many other changes that hopefully won't break the site.)
I forgot to mention that LC gave me a poster (through her mom). It's actually a promotional poster for the upcoming Street Fighter comic series by Udon Entertainment.

I've been doing some HTML validation on my site and I'm already falling asleep. Argh! I had 200 errors on my journal script alone! (I'm down to ten now.) I used a number of tricks to get the site to work the way I wanted it to (especially in Netscape 4) but since it's mostly asthetics, I decided to take some of it out.
I discovered that & should be replaced in the script calls with &. (Browsers will automatically convert the & to &.) Now that was annoying to hunt down.
Of course, there's no way I'll be validating every single page on this site..
