Growly asked me a little while ago why I haven't been throwing any brain teasers up on my site lately. The answer is: I didn't have any. Actually, I do have a few, but no good ones. I figured that I'd do some snooping around and came across one that I judged too quickly. Here it is:

One day, a group of scientist had a wine party. One of the scientists decided to do an experiment. He got a sheet of paper and wrote CARBON DIOXIDE, all in capital letters, upside down on a piece of paper. He then turned a wine glass on its side and put the paper under it in such a way that the word CARBON was under the cup of the glass and the word DIOXIDE was under the stem. When they looked at the paper through the glass, they saw that the word CARBON was still upside down, but the word DIOXIDE was right side up.

Why is this so?

Any answers? This should be an easy one. Just don't use the internet, you don't need to. (I've got a few others in my head that just came to mind, I'll throw them up as they are needed.)

Lazy to post a complete answer but..

It has to do with the difference in axes of symmetry possesed by CARBON and DIOXIDE, respectively. I think.

The axis is correct. Also, it's mostly imaging data because it will be used to show the progress of the spinal change over the course of the treatment. I don't really have the details unfortunately.
