[5:30 PM EDT - Cleaning up.]

Well, since I've got a bit of time, I figure it's high time to clean up some of this mess around here. I've got some cravats to fold, and some garbage to dump. I've cleaned up the computer room a bit. The Debian box is now cleaned up and ready to go. I couldn't find an extra power cable for the 5.25" drive, but it's not like I'll be using it huh?

I forgot to mention that HKL dropped off a couple of DVDs on Saturday. (Or was it Sunday?)

Oh yeah, I'm running out of ports again but apparently I'll be getting my old router back so that should keep me in business for a little while..

It was Sunday. :)

You neglected to mention whether or not any of your DVD-ROMs can read them (I'm dying to know!). It would be a major bummer if none of them did -- then you'd either have to burn them all onto 14 CDRs or buy a new DVD-ROM.

(I recommend the LiteOn drives which have DVD-Multi -- first drives that read DVD Multisession).

Oh, yeah, don't banks charge $25 to put a stop order on a cheque?

Hmm.. sucky. Then it's not worth it for me to cancel and just hope they never get cashed? *marks cheques as void*

I *think* there's a one year limit when it comes to cashing cheques -- I'll have to ask again at a bank to find out. If they're over a year old then I don't think you need to worry about them. (Unless, of course, they're cheques to your friendly neighbourhood crime syndicate...).

So, uh, about those DVDs?

The DVD seems to play fine. Woot!
