[12:00 PM EDT - No subject.]

This is it.. the day hath arrived.

Since I like to have a link to it myself, I stole this from Jax.

Man the weather's pretty poopy right now. Overcast and windy as hell. (No excuse for me not to work I guess..) At least I did get to do my laundry last night (although I probably should've been writing.. ahh!)

The tension is really getting to me! *pulls out tufts of hair*

That's funny, just after I had printed out a draft final, one of my committee members (who had wandered into the printer room and noticed my stack of paper) commented:

"I don't like your title!"

I had "Directly Fitting Spectroscopic Data to Potential Functions", and it should read "Direct Fitting of Spectroscopic Data to Potential Functions".

Eh, so me english ungood.

Hey! Seems like weirDo has a short little update on Area 51B. A webcam?!? Oooh!

*groan* The chicken schnitzel I had for lunch isn't agreeing with me.

Hrumph. Not done. This is a bit of a letdown. Not to fret, it's not the end of the world or anything. I'll just hand it in first thing tomorrow, once I finish doing those dozens of corrections which I anticipate getting when it gets the once over. Yahoo.

Been playing around with my pictures a bit. Some of them are easier to see now. Most look like they've been poorly photo edited unfortunately (my skills are somewhat lacking).

I've also been surfing a bit (yeah yeah, I should be busy making sure that the final draft has no errors.. but eh. *shrug*). Jax feels super-acknowledged and even gave me a whole garden, dirt and all! *shows of soil covered jeans* *plants garden into The PIT* I don't really have that much of a green thumb unfortunately, the last plant I had (a spider plant which was a present from Madelaine) died a slow and lonesome death a number of years ago (how metaphorical). *hangs head in silence*

Anyway, for the garden, I will direct any and all of you folks to go and sign her Guestbook! Yeah! Make her feel like people are reading up on her life and scare her back into obscurity.. hmm.. waitaminute! Jax is indeed thinking of stopping the Scribble at some point in time in the very near future (very, very near future). What can I say? Not much, except for: WAH!

KGL's been fairly busy studying, so not much has been going on on that end, although I do believe she does supplement her craming routine with some surfing breaks.. Eh, I have faith in the kid. I mean, anyone who can play waterpolo and broomball with debilitating injuries and still win should be able to ace anything right?!?

Laz has a couple of entries up, with a comment about IE and NN and one on our abortive attempt to set up a network gaming centre. Laz complains that we should all follow the standards and use IE, but wasn't it not too long ago that NN was THE standard? Also, despite my urge to set up some sort of gaming venture (and play oodles while waiting for customers) I agree that something like that wouldn't generate much revenue, if any. It's basically a glorified arcade, and with arcade games slowly (oh so painfully slowly) appealing to more multiplayer type deals, as well has having the cost of computer power dropping like a lead balloon, and high bandwidth internet connectivity becoming mainstream, the idea of setting up this sort of buisiness may not be that good an idea.

Still, I if we *cough* they *cough* had the money, I think it'd be fun.

Okay, it's time for me to go. I just realized that I didn't have any food prepared at home so I have to make dinner. At least I was able to pick up some milk yesterday (and detergent, thus getting laundry done). What I need to do is find a place to develop my film..

I best get going now. I'm gonna clear my head and then come back to the work at hand to see if my previous work makes any sense (it never does). Tomorrow, and the weekend, awaits!
