[12:00 PM EDT - No subject.]

I got up late this morning and had to walk to school in the rain. I thought that was bad enough, but around noon weirDo looked outside and said:

"Oh look, it's snowing."

and yes indeed it was..

The funny thing was that when Dusty came up to go for lunch, he was wearing sandals. Apparently he thought that it was going to be a hot muggy day today.

Got back from lunch and it's still snowing. Wow.

The switch that connected us to the name servers was down so I had some trouble logging in. Once I realized that the text and background colours were the same, I had no trouble trying to blind type some commands to get around the situation (my term went black and white for some reason). Anyway, it wasn't long after I got into school before everything went back to normal. (Mind you, I did come in late..)

Hmm.. it's finally stopped snowing. Still pretty cold, but at least we don't have something else to remind us that winter doesn't feel like leaving (mind you, we didn't really have much of a winter to begin with).

Seems like Jax is learning a lot of Latin:

Tempus fugit, I guess.
12 days left.

Indeed it does.

Hmm.. it's snill snowing and not the snow seems to be flying completely horizontally.. oh good.

I've had a very invigorating discussion of sorts which (although stopped me from writing anything) actually saved me quite a bit of work. Let me explain. As I was happily conversing, I didn't have enough multi-tasking ability to do any other work so I closed my files and printed off a copy. Sometime into the conversation, Theochem died. Amazingly enough, I was still able to talk and continue the conversation. That's when I heard from weirDo that any files that were being edited on had been corrupted. So had I been working on my thesis the moment Theochem went down, I would've lost the file. That would've been a bad thing. So, this means that by slacking off, I didn't lose any work! Lucky! *V*

Oh yes, so Theochem went down for a little while. No idea why. Things seem to be working now so we'll figure it out later. *quickly backs up thesis material*

Laz has put up a few images onto his site, Sparky has a little distressing tale on hers (I know she'll be able to pull through, I've got faith!), and.. that's about it for now.

In regards to the questions I posed yesterday, Growly has given me an answer to what "barkada" means:

it stands for "the people you hang out with" in Tagalog, the predominant native language in the Philippines. The term "posse", as in "Yo, I be coolin' on da corner wit' ma posse" comes pretty close -- except barkada applies to a gaggle of females as well as a gang of guys.

Kewl huh? Although I didn't ask it in as an anime question, but I did come across it while I was checking out a sugar coated page..

Well, I've got the broomball term end party to celebrate another good term (making it to the top is always a good thing). I should get ready, will be going soon.

This is funny. I got a little.. personality chart from Growly just now:

follow the chart to find your true romantic self.

and followed it through. I ended up with:

"you are faithful, honest, and lovely person!"

Whatever!
