[12:00 PM EST - No subject.]

HKL sent me a link for the Final Fantasy movie which is coming out sometime next year. It's going to be completely done in CGI and the homepage itself is pretty funky. Check out the two short trailers they have on their site. I remember the Final Fantasy OVA and I wasn't that impressed. We'll see how the movie does..

Alright, since KGL was proding me, I'll put up something from last night. On my way out, I went down to the chem lab to download my files onto disk to take home. When I got there, I saw that the lab was completely full. Well, there were some computers that seemed unattended, but on the other side of the lab, I saw her. Yup. Well, I started checking out the computers and made my way across to the other side where she turned and greeted me. So I sat down and talked to her for a while. I felt like such a tool since, well, I (nearly) always act stupid around cute girls and that was no exception. I struck out when it came to finding a computer, so after having a good conversation, I went home.

Well, I could've talked more normally and I probably shouldn't have seemed that geekish, but what could I do? I didn't expect her to be there.. *shrug* Oh well, we'll see where this goes.

What an amazing day. *looks outside*

Oops, got mesmerized by the good weather out there. It's dark now. Anyway, I've been getting in later and later recently. That's a bad habit, but I don't think I'll be getting in early tomorrow with skating and broomball. I felt so lethargic today, in no mood to do work or anything else for that matter. I dunno.. I dunno..

Well, there was a presentation on Tecplot today, and I was invited out to lunch with the presenter. I figured, why not? Well, then I remembered how nice it was outside and that the usual suspects would want to go outside and throw the disc around for a while (since it's supposed to turn crummy tomorrow). Unfortunately, I had already commited to lunch, so while I was inside the DC, looking around wondering why I was stuck inside, RHS and weirDo were having a ball in the sun. Grr..

Actually, I saw AC while I was there, but apart from that, lunch wasn't all too exciting (I had brought my lunch anyway so I didn't even get a free meal).

The presentation was right afterward, and although there were some interesting parts, I really didn't participate much in the discussion. What I do remember was that one of the girls, who had an odd name, looked at me and told me that she recognized me from somewhere. I've never seen her before, or if I had, I don't remember her name or her face.

Speaking of bumping into people who knew me, I bumped into one of last year's frosh leaders on the way to lunch yesterday. Gah, I really got to get out of here.

After getting out of that presentation, I found out that both RHS and weirDo got scholarships! Cool huh? I guess the school is fairly well off after all. Now they can't go around complaining about not getting any money..

Oh yeah, Dusty came up after a frustrating afternoon with his instruments, and I was able to convince him to go and throw the disc for a while. It was getting late, but the sun was still up, and it was actually still warm outside, so we took advantage of the good weather and threw the disc around. There was already a large group of people in the field tossing around a frisbee, so we were regulated to a small patch of grass on the top of the hill. (They only had one disc for the dozen of them so I didn't want to join in. I want my throwing time.)

It was too bad that the breeze was a bit stronger than I had anticipated, and the sun was lower than I would've liked, but heck, I can take whatever good weather comes our way. So I gave Dusty the better spot and took the position against the sun and the wind. Remind me not to do it on a windier day. I lost the disc a number of times in the sun, and if it was actually heading right at me it would've done quite a bit of damage. Mind you, I still took a good hit on the pinkie, but it shouldn't affect me for broomball.

Aw man, I really don't know what's up with me today, but I really don't want to do anything tonight. Just veg. Guh.

No new .plans but there are quite a number of homepage updates. Okay, only three, but that's at least more than yesterday. Laz has a couple of entries to make up for the one that he missed out on yesterday, while KGL's been getting quite a bit of exercise lately. The last one would be Jax, who's getting an early start on her tan by irradiating herself with the boob tube. *makes humming sound*

I bought myself a bulk sized box of President's Choice triple chocolate cookies for work. Unfortunately, I don't really like them too much so I've been pawning them off to the various visitors to my office, students, profs, green people, and anyone else who'd care to try one.

I don't know how I'm going to survive tonight. I haven't had dinner, and don't plan to until I get home. The disc throwing this afternoon didn't give me any more energy, and I don't stretch. What the heck am I doing? Trying to kill myself? *punches head* There are a lot easier ways to do that.. *looks out third story window* Guh, that requires too much work too. I think I'll just sit here.

I guess I better get going now. Don't want to be late.
