[12:00 PM EST - No subject.]

Not much time to chit-chat, so I'll better make this quick.

It was raining pretty hard last night, and I was a little annoyed that I was wearing a sponge on my way home (also known as a sweater). Fortunately my jacket is pretty good at keeping me dry. I just happened that the train came by the tracks when I got outside, making me wait a few minutes for it to pass. I figured that I wanted to save my karma for something more important so I didn't try beating the train across the tracks. Besides, it's only rain. I got pretty wet on the way back, but something greeted me when I got home. A box.

A box from Onvia.com.

Any guesses? Well, it seems as if those guys work pretty fast. Just three days after receiving my cheque, I got my brand spankin new USB 250 Zip drive! Oh yeah! I'm quite impressed with the speed of the delivery, and the drive looked fine, so this is a little plug for Onvia.

Anyway, I happily showed of my new toy to the other members of the household. Werdna was surprised on the size of the drive. It's actually quite tiny, and very light as well. It's about the same size as his LS120. It was a snap to install, and very easy to use. They did improve considerably on the data transfer speed, but there was a funny sound that came from the drive everytime I accessed the disks. Maybe it's normal, but I found it a little irritating. We'll see if it's actually eating my disk..

I got up a little earlier today despite the rather melancholy weather. I guess I missed out on the rain on the way to school since it was (and still is) quite humid. This is pretty crazy weather for February, but heck, I'm not complaining.

Yes, today I did remember to bring my gloves, so I didn't have an excuse to skip out on skating today. Guess what? I didn't! I was able to pull myself away from my work (oh how hard..) and head off to the rink. I was so surprised to see that there were people at the rink, and even more surprised to see that there were a lot of people at the rink. Weekdays usually are the best times to go skating since the arena is usually dead empty, except for a couple of regulars. Around fifteen people showed up, which is a lot by my standards, especially considering the things I wanted to practice today.

Well, it still didn't deter me from practicing. I tried out my three-turns, jumps, and spins. All poorly. I felt a little self concious when a couple of skaters took a rest in the penalty box with a perfect view of my little skating spot (centre ice). I kept wondering if they were watching me.. laughing ever so quietly amongst themselves..

Anyway, it was pretty good exercise. I even got to get most of the chores done as well. Got the key, got the money, handed in the intent to graduate form, and checked my data. Realized that the data I had wasn't just old, it was wrong. Oh joy. Fortunately I did find out that I was smart enough and did do more recent work with the right potential, so I'm sortof in the clear. I still have to check it with the powers that be.

[4:00 PM EST - Dream Sequence.]

Hey! I had a pretty weird dream last night. Unfortunately it involved people that should not know about the dream so I'll keep it to myself.

I was a little annoyed by the fact that my shoes had not completely dried off from last night's downpour. I hope they don't start to smell funny..

There don't seem to be any .plan updates today (both of them are away for the weekend). So I'll get going to the CTRL-A show, since.. well, I need to take some pictures.. heheh.
