[12:00 PM EST - No subject.]

I went to sleep at a fairly respectable time last night. When I checked the clock this morning, it was half past eleven. *groan* That meant that I was going to miss skating. Dejected, I rolled back to sleep. Next time I checked the time, it was already half past twleve. I have no idea how I ended up sleeping so much this morning, but seeing how much anime I watched last night (over nine hours!), I guess I needed the rest.

I figured that I should make myself something good for breakfast. French toast sounded nice. I hadn't made anything for at least a week (breakfastwise) so this was a good time as any. So I took out week old eggs, month old bread, and other stuff and started making my food. The first egg I tried taking out of the carton broke since it was still attached to the cardboard. I was able to crack it open and drop the contents into a bowl without making too much of a mess, so that was fine. However, I found another egg which had a nice dent in it, then a third egg where the yolk seemed as if it was scarred. It didn't help much to see that the albumen was also yellowish (eww). That egg I removed from the mix.

I've been having some bad luck with eggs recently. This wasn't really helping my appetite much. That's alright though, the eggs seemed fine. I had no trouble making the french toast, so I sat down to eat. Mmm!

I put the first morsel in my mouth and it was awful! It just tasted bad. I couldn't figure out what was wrong: the eggs, the bread, the milk, the butter, the syrup, the fact that they were a little undercooked? I had some scrambled eggs as well, and they seemed fine (although the salt I added drowned out whatever other flavours were in the eggs). So the eggs seemed fine. The butter seemed fine. The syrup seemed fine. That left the bread or the milk. I could've sworn that the bread was fine, I gave it the once over, and the milk seemed fine as well. Perhaps they were undercooked? If so, it should taste a little raw, not a little predigested. Guh, In any case, I threw out most of the food, and had toast instead. I hope I don't get sick..

Two links weirDo sent along my way. The first one was of some interest to me, although I don't think I'll use it. Those of you interested in a search engine, can check out Webglimpse. The other link is a horror story from someone who got stuff from IBC in Waterloo. I personally didn't get anything from them, but someone on the mailing list did..

Nothing homepage or .plan update wise, so that gets me off the hook.

I'm gonna finish this later. It's really dark outside and I don't want to get wet..
