[12:00 PM EST - No subject.]

Brr.. it's gotten quite a bit cooler from yesterday and the wind doesn't exactly help keep me warm either. What irked me yesterday was the fact that it got really, really dark (due to the very dark clouds in the sky) and there was not a drop of rain from the heavens. Nor snow. Nor sleet. Nor.. you get the picture. I could've stayed at school to finish the entry! Bah!

I went and finished off my CTRL-A chores. Nothing too exciting, except that as I was passing in front of the Math building, I noticed that the CS.. sculpture (I guess you'd call it) had been repainted. I wonder when (and why) they did that. It's now a bright pink, while it used to be a sky blue before. I was wondering why they changed the colour, until I remembered that the math symbol was the pink tie..

Ugh.. I'm glad I didn't go into math, pink just doesn't suit me..

Hrumph, I just got a virus warning. It seemed a little suspicious since people usually don't read messages about giving their cat a colonic. Furthermore, a virus that likes to eat Netscrape or Internet Exploder doesn't seem likely. Oh yeah, I found out that this virus (the Wobbler virus) is a hoax, although I was surprised by the number of virus hoaxes that were floating around in the internet that I found in my search. I'd give you a link to one of the lists, but I lost it. Eh, just do a simple search and you'll come up with something.

I'm not saying that you shouldn't be careful when dealing with mail or any programs that are handed to you (or taken by you). There's so much crap floating around on the web that you have to get used to. Which reminds me, I should check my computer sometime..

So back onto the topic of last night. Nothing particularly interesting happened. I took the time to start cleaning up my room, and vacuuming some of that dust out (I had quite a collection in the various nooks and crannies). It feels much better now that I don't step on pebbles when I'm walking around in my room.

I also got to check out Delta Force. Yeah yeah, it's an old game, but Werdna wanted me to try out a multiplayer session so I figured I might as well see what all the fuss is about. It's a pretty fun game! I was rather surprised. It's like a cross between Rainbow 6 and Half-Life. We ended up plaing a number of scenerios, although I think the setting was a little too easy..

Just got word that the ski trip that was being planned for Friday was cancelled due to the warm weather we've been having lately. That's quite alright since I wasn't sure if I should start skipping out of school now that I'm (sort of) writing. Of course, there's the thing on the 14th.. *ponders*

Oh yeah, back to last night. HNT came up and asked if we wanted to go out for dinner. After a bit of discussion (mostly on HNT's part since Werdna and I were busy taking out the Peruvians), we agreed on a steak house thing (I can't remember exacly where). It was later when he told us that something was going down at JCC's place, so we decided to go there instead (I really didn't care, I was still trying to finish the mission).

Huh, just got e-mail from FlyingS about a picture of me that he got from KNZ. I can't remember when he took that picture. *looks* It only goes to prove how unphotogenic I am. *looks again* Eww..

Anyhoo, I should stop getting distracted here. It was a schnitzel dinner, although we had to bring our own. That was no problem, we headed down to Sobey's (Which used to be IGA, which used to be Dutch Boy) to grab some schnitzel. When we got there, I noticed that they were selling chicken breast schnitzel, so I asked if they had any pork. No dice. When we got to JCC's place, I found out that everyone else had pork.. wah.

We watched the X-Files. What was up with that? I dunno, it started off interesting, but got pretty darned stupid.

Oh, found out last night that Canada won the Gold Cup in soccer! Canada? Soccer? No wonder why it's getting cold.

One more thing, my registry was FUBARed again last night. I better start buying those Zip disks soon before the computer completely goes on me..

Hey.. the sun's out. I guess it's tomorrow huh?

Not too much today. Got quite a bit of e-mail. Responding will take some time (I still got some old mail that I should respond to.. *erk*).

Oi, the clouds are all gone.. sure looks like spring out there.. hmm. I guess there's nothing much left to talk about except for.. *drum roll* the updates!

KGL has this up:

I hate making decisions
oh, and _ _ _ _ _ _ _ are stupid

While Jax had this quote up:

"There is a time when we must finally choose the course we will follow or the endless drift of events will make the decision for us."
-H.V. Prochnow

An interesting observation.

On the homepage front, Laz has been back to the updates, and this time, there's quite a number of comments that people have put up! Interesting yes? KGL has a recount of the long weekend, while Jax has a plethora of new entries that.. oh boy, it's quite the update. *sifts through*

That's about it for updates. I went with Dusty in search of composites, and realized that just about all of the non-physics undergrad composites had been taken down or were nowhere to be found in the science buildings! I found that kind of odd, and quite sad actually. I would've expected that they'd post those pictures somewhere, at least so that when grads return to visit, they can find their picture and remember all the people they graduated with..

BTW, I learned a new word today: Dour.

On that note, I'm gonna go. I'm quite hungry.
