What an amazing day today. Sunshine, blue skies, warm weather (okay, it's only a few degrees above freezing, but that's pretty darned warm in a winter jacket!). I would like to throw the disc around today, but I doubt I'll be able to convince anyone to go out and join me. Wah.
We'll be getting good weather for the next week or so, with amazingly high temperatures (maybe breaking the single digit barrier on Saturday!). Yeeha!
I was just taking a look at the date, and I was pretty impressed that it was the 2nd day of the week on the 22nd day of the 2nd month of the last year of the 2nd millennium, which coincidentally enough, starts with a two. Dent would just have loved to pull a double heist today..

I finally got around to cashing in that cheque I got last week, and paying off the Visa bill, and getting that dividend card. Yup, it's all looking mighty good indeed..
I also found out that there was skating all of this week. I might just skip out and go on the ice sometime on Thursday..
It's also clouded over pretty quickly, although it's still rather warm. It's supposed to rain tonight. We'll see about that.
Went out to lunch to your usual haunt. Got a new waitress (I guess nobody likes to serve us anymore - students aren't well known for their tips), but this time, when we looked at the bill, I noticed.. hold on, what happened to our drinks? We weren't charged for any! (Well, I did order water, but those guys didn't). She told us that drinks were free. Really? Since when? Since she started working there.

Well, that's a good time to pay and run as they say.
Now for the homepage updates: Laz has a number of computer gripes, while KGL shares her depression. Jax is a little worried at being thrown in with the rest of the anime crowd (BTW, you really don't want to know what "lemon" means..), although I've never ever seen Jax squirm.. I've noticed, with the facelift, Jax has gotten a couple of Guestbook entries! Well done!
Just saw that the Palm will be having an IPO at the end of the month. Anyone interested in joining the bandwagon? I think I can spare a few thousand.
Oh man, I screwed up the dates on a few of those new pictures. I'm glad I remembered that MJO stayed over for two days, not one, and was able to remedy the situation. If there are any glaring errors (or even subtle ones) you can give me a shout.
Dang! I dropped one of my disks on the ground and it just got FUBARed. How annoying. *throws disk in trash* I guess I'll have to find another one.. *grabs new disk from huge stack* Can't wait until my Zip drive comes in..
I think my memory is going, or I'm getting even more absentminded. I forgot to bring my gloves yesterday (to my hands' chagrin) while I forgot to bring my scarf today (to my neck's chagrin). I'm afraid I'll show up to work without my pants one day. That would be a bad thing for all concerned.. (Unless I was wearing shorts of course.)
