[12:00 PM EDT - No subject.]

What a nice day it was today. Sunny, and slightly cool. Great weather for running around and frolicking outside. That's probably why I bladed to school again. Actually, my arches got sore after I've been blading recently.. I'm not sure why, I haven't had that problem before. I guess I'll have to look into that some other time.

RHS has been eating lunch by himself recently, so only weirDo, Dusty and I went outside to enjoy the sunshine. threw the disk around for an hour or so, but that thing is way too light. It's quite prone to going a little awry. Nearly hit a couple of people (including the hot dog vendor) but no damage done.. yet.

Speaking of which, I think the hot dog vendor might recognize us since we keep coming out and getting food from him. Well, I guess it's a near daily dose of carbon which we always get a craving for on days like these (That and UV radiation). Quite the Cancer gluttons we are.

Had a e-mail pseudo conversation with Renee.. who told me first of all that I couldn't cover her (which I can.. believe me, I can! - I think) ad secondly that my math was wrong. Let me go check..

Hmm..

Ahh, you see.. 3 plus 0 is not four, but I was not adding 3 to 0. I was adding 3 to an indeterminate value which ended up summing to 4. Read the score paragraph from yesterday carefully.. it's not incorrect.

While we're on the topic of e-mail, I've gotten responses from T, Squishy, and even BSB.. seems like today is a good day to respond. Although sifting through all this mail is really long, it's always interesting hearing how people are doing.. weird, how I find so much interest in other peoples' lives, but when I recount my past experiences, they don't seem too interesting to me. Case in point.

One of RJL's kids came by while I was having a discussion with him. She had a couple of her friends with her and one of them looked amazingly like Bev. Well.. Bev with long hair. She smiled at me so I wasn't sure if it was a recognition smile, or a "I think you look funny" smile.. well.. with my luck..

I gotta go do my laundry. I was planning to do it last night, but I ended up coming home around midnight, and seeing as HNT was in, while I was bringing my laundry bag downstairs (and asking who won the election - the Tories.. more on that later) he asked me.. uhh.. gosh darned it.. I can't remember the exact quote. Went something like

"I don't want you doing that now."

Gee.. were my intentions that obvious? (well yes, but that was a rhetorical question)

Then I planned to do my laundry this morning. I realized yestermorn that I ran out of underwear. There's no way in hell I'm gonna put on yesterday's or anything from before without washing them.. it's just a little gross (I find it gross at least). Well. I figured that I shouldn't miss out on doing a bit of work so..

I still had my swimming trunks (that I was going to wash too, but they were clean-ish).. and now you know how I got through my day. I think I've done this two times before.. very bad at remembering to do laundry. I'll do it tonight.

I'll also be installing my hard drive (*knock on wood*) and getting Win98 up and running on it so I can finally install Half-Life (and TFC). That would mean actually going home at a decent time and get things set up. Gee.. I also have to do groceries..

So the Tories are in power. It was more or less expected. Funny how most of the people I've talked to (students) hated the fact that the Tories were voted back in. Personally, I didn't vote so as weirDo would say

"You have no right to complain."

Guess what? I'm not complaining! I figured two things. The Tories were going to come back, and that Alvin Curling would be reelected in my riding. Which would make it five-in-a-row now. That's quite a feat. Anyhoo, if I start complaining, give me a good smack on the noggin (even though I know you folks don't even need a reason to smack me).

I guess that should be it for now then. I've got ice cream, four eggs, two bread ends, half a brick of cheese, and lots of condiments left in the fridge. I guess it's time to clean it out! I guess that's enough homepage hacking for this week.. I don't have the time to add anything today. I'll return tomorrow.
