[12:00 PM EDT - No subject.]

Tired.. must rest.. explain later.. entry first..

First of all, some person who stopped talking to me (got mad at me because I did something) started talking with me again! I was so happy. I just wanted to mention that.

Anyhoo, one of the girls in HaremPresident's lab looks so familiar. She's new, probably a summer student, but I think she was a frosh leader or something last year. I'm not too sure since I didn't really remember too many people from frosh week, but that's the only possible reason for recognizing her. I'll have to ask her about it later.

Went to broomball. The first co-rec game of the term. I had really high hopes for this game since the first game usually draws out the entire team. I showed up. So did Mr. Broomball, Stripes, and someone else. Hmm.. So basically, the people I knew would come came, and everyone else didn't. Since we were down two people the other team lent us a couple of players (they had lots). Unfortunately, they handed us over their two best guys. That wasn't a very smart move since

In the end, we shut them out 8-0 or something like that. Even *I* got in a goal. It's too bad, if they gave us their girls, it would've been more fair, but as Mr. Broomball mentioned, I don't think they'd react well if we said

"Give us your women."

Ah well, at least we all had fun.

The next game was Mr. Broomball's team (Mr. Broomball plays on my team and I play on his). Riston and company showed up. Actually, Riston and company was Riston, John and someone else. So even with everyone else on my team, we only had one sub. To make things worse, the other team only had four people show up!! Gah, Riston and I switched teams to make it fair (Now Mr. Broomball and Stripes had the not as good players - no offence!). Course, we still had no goalie, but we held them off at 3-0 on a couple of sloppy goals, so I wasn't unhappy. Still, we had a ton of shots on Stripes, but he stoned us every time.. Eventually, more people from the other team showed up, and I went back to the winning side, eventually killing them in the end. Stripes was just happy he got two shutouts already.

That was fun, despite the fact that (essentially) no one showed up..

This morning was very nice. Cool and sunny, just how I like it. They opened up the egg today as well. Actually the real name for that thing is "Break", but it looks like an egg (half of one) so that's what the rest of us joes call it. I haven't checked if they filled up the pool with water yet..

News today, there seems to be a rise in road rage incidents.. It's really too bad, but seeing as I don't drive, I can't really say if I would b affected by it or not. I'm just glad I don't go around yelling and screaming at people.. (or in these extreme cases, taking out their frustrations on other drivers physically).

Then there's the Atlanta school shootings. I have nothing to add to that.

On the way to get lunch from the Math C&D I nearly opened a door on some poor woman. It's one of those push bar doors, and just as I was unlocking it, I noticed someone behind the door (there's one of those small windows) and I think I held off just in time to not flatten her face. Apparently she was checking out the new quarter and didn't notice the door. Whatever.

After I went to the Math C&D I scoped around for food. The place was pretty much picked clean, but there were some goodies left. Or so I thought. They had these breaded chicken (schnitzel) sandwiches, which were really good, and were a good deal. Unfortunately, these ones that I was looking at had breading that was more than half the thickness of the entire breaded chicken!

"Where's the chicken?"

Yoiks, taking a look at some of those Kaiser sandwiches, I noticed that they were awfully small.. I don't remember them being the size of muffins.. Well, I gave up and took the pita pizza (not a good choice people) and left.

I didn't feel so good today.. It must have been something I ate, but I really had bowel problems. I thought I'd share this tidbit with you folks.

Softball was okay, got in two hours of practice, and found out that I could actually hit the ball away from the ground! If it wasn't the fact that our infield was so terrible, I wouldn't have got on base that many times.. (like 6 out of 7).

Right after softball was volleyball.. I had to juggle two teams simultaneously since the CTRL-A team and Wet Cement (Chem grad) team were playing on different courts at the same time. Fortunately since we had enough people show up for CTRL-A, I went to play for the less stocked Wet Cement team. BTW, Jax showed up! I was so surprised! Too bad I didn't get to see her play, she told me that she sucked, but I have faith in her abilities. Besides, as long as I keep dragging her out..

Finally, leaving early from volleyball, I rushed over to the Icefield to play ball hockey. Passed by CD on the way there. Did a double take to make sure it was her (it was getting dark), and then she called my name. Yup, that was her! I told her that I didn't have time to talk. (Too bad) Maybe next time.

Ball hockey was fun, except for the fact that four people showed up!! (Gosh darned it). JKent, who came to the softball practice, volleyball and ball hockey, was the only person I was sure that would come (since I did drag him out from volleyball). Cosmo and MJTD also showed up, which left us with.. no subs. To top that off, we had no goalie. Oh good. JKent volunteered, and I was very willing to let him go in. Mind you Cosmo and MJTD play hockey, and I think they are the best players on the team. I was just surprised that no one else showed up. Like Dusty, weirDo, Joe, TG (who stayed for volleyball), TG's postdoc, etc. I was expecting at least seven people. Nope. Four.

I haven't played ball hockey since elementary school, and playing a full game without substitutions is.. shall we put it.. suicidal??!?

Seriously, if it wasn't the fact that both Cosmo and MJTD were both good, we would've been totally burned (I definitely wouldn't have made much of difference). Oh yeah, the other team had TEN people show up, three whole lines. After the first 5 minutes, we were up 2-1, then by fifteen minutes, we were down 4-2. We played two halves of 20 minutes, so by the time the first half ended, we were totally beat, and soon to be beaten.

Oh, did I mention that we won 7-4? We got five unanswered goals in the second half. They just kept going in. Of course, we made thirty odd shots on net, and had control for most of the game. If I ever form a hockey team, Cosmo, MJTD and JKent will be on it.

Now you know why I'm so tired.. and hungry.

Now you know why I'm so tired and hungry.. and thirsty.

Now you know why.. ah heck, it's been done before.

BTW, Laz has finally updated his homepage! Mind you, I don't have Shockwave so I didn't see any kewl animation. Eh, whatever, at least he has some interesting entries (and more to come he promises!). Although I must say that a number of his links to people he knows (like Growly) are broken. I guess work is still to be done..

Growly has updated his homepage as well! Boy oh boy, it seems like things will be on the move again..

With all this talk about people coming to visit this site, I've been wondering about one person in particular. The first (out of two) person I actually told. Hmm.. of course every time I check the lab, that person isn't in.. (or doesn't seem to be)..

Well, I should get going, must replenish bodily fluids and obtain sustenance. Blorp.
