Another great day weather-wise. I have a bad feeling we'll be paying for it later in the year, but for now, I'm enjoying every second of it! The forecast is calling for good weather this weekend as well, which bodes well for out BBQ on Saturday. It might also give me some incentive to go out on Sunday and get some blading done. Of course, with the state these roads are in..
Alright, there is probably something that I should say..
I must apologize to all those people who may be offended by my comments and anecdotes. Most of these stories involve people I know or people who I've bumped into. Not everyone wants to be quoted, nor exposed to the world. I have always written this stories with the intent of expressing my thoughts and feelings of certain events or situations. Every now and then, something interesting happens to me that isn't directly related to whatever I'm doing and I would like to record them for posterity (I have a terrible memory).
Unfortunately, this project was undertaken with the assumption that no one ever visited this site. When I began this journal, I was quite right (there were less than 10 hits for more than a month - all mine. But since then, there have been 700 hits.. more hits than I had in the same time frame when I WAS telling people about my page (oh so many years ago). I'm so surprised at the number of visits to this page from people that I know (Laz, Growly, MJO), and people who just happen to drop by. Why they would come here, I don't know. So as you can see, I have stopped complaining about the lack of visitors, and started to wonder about the people who were coming to this site.
A number of people were probably drawn to this page because of the people that I do talk about, and this is not my intent. To respect the privacy of these people and the trust they put into me (by telling me things) I'm only going to comment on the superficial aspects of any encounters.. my analysis will be a bit more limited. It's unfortunate that I have to do this, but I don't think I would like to have some (touchy) aspects of my life shown to the world.
Well, being my own self censor, I have been able to keep some parts of my life and some personal things about other people out of these pages, but every person has a different tolerance. Sabeesh may not mind me putting his comments on my name on this page, or he might. I doubt it, it's pretty inconsequential. MJO would like me not to quote him anymore

oops. Okay, I did that on purpose.
Anyhoo, some interesting quotes, which are too.. revealing, or personal, yet too good to ignore, I shall probably post anonymously. I'll let you guys figure out who the heck could have come up with that. It'll take me a little time to get used to it, but it shouldn't affect anyone.
It's too bad. I wanted to make this personal.. but I wanted to make this accessible to everyone. Kind of a joke, how I tell the whole world what I am, but find out that no-one is listening. I still believe that is true, but only time will prove me right, and time will be the end of us all.
We are the sum of our experiences with the people around us, and that was reflected in my entries. Well.. we'll see what happens.
