Well, I was able to talk to Joe and Amanda (and GBC) outside of Joe's lab about their.. umm.. lack of presence at the ball hockey game last night. They both had fairly good excuses so I couldn't blame them. Still, it was funny telling them (Amanda at least) the score.
What was interesting was while I was talking with them, some girl in a lab coat passed us by with a bucket of some sort. Her hair was done up in a pretty bizarre do, but she was so amazingly cute! (*Drool*) Anyhoo, after staring and flashing a smile, I realized that I didn't recognize her. Hmm.. another summer student?
After the little ball hockey discussion, I walked by one of the labs and noticed (from the back) someone with the same hairdo. It had to be her, so it did seem as if she was working in the department somewhere..
weirDo didn't show up this morning so Cosmo and I couldn't beat on him for not showing up for the game last night. So it was just RHS and me outside for lunch. On the way back, I passed by one of my former students (Cory I think), who wasn't looking all too happy. Actually, irate would be a good word. I didn't know where she was going (her bf was following her, not next to her, which meant that she was heading somewhere with determination) but I did follow her upstairs (since I was going back to the office) but I couldn't tell where she went after that..
Oh, I was telling Cosmo about TG (who didn't show up at the game) and he told me that he's never seen her. What the.. but she's up here every day! Well, I found that rather bizarre, until TG came on up, and I told her that Cosmo showed up for the game.
"Who's [Cosmo]?"
Oh.. I guess they've never actually met. I found that rather odd seeing as Cosmo worked here all the time, and she came up fairly regularly..
I'll be going home this weekend, TP should be giving me a ride back (I checked to make sure) so I should get going soon. I have to talk to someone first (hopefully she'll be in) but with my luck.. well, let's go check right now!
