Hot, Humid and Overcast. Put them together, and you got lots and lots of H2O. Rain folks. Lots of it. I stayed inside with my air conditioner on. Every time we have a day like this, I thank the saint who invented it. What a lifesaver.
Work was slow, everyone and their dog decided to use the computer today. The load shot up to 8 in no time, and having only four processors made life a bit slow..
I did get to work on some of these scripts. I'm so glad I don't use these things blindly.. there were a number of typos in them, and I found them while I was modifying them for my purposes.. One good reason to learn how to program, and not trust anyone else's skills.
REM came by to visit after her lab, she had her hair down (first time I've seen it that way) and it looked nice.
Cosmo was still chanting "Let's go Buffalo". Bah, watch them take the cup.
I didn't see Dr. Fisher today, which means that I won't be setting up Windoze 98 on my new hard drive. Well.. I'm not so sure about that. I know that HNT should have a copy of the boot up disk.. I'll have to talk to him.. (if he's in)
Oh, weirDo was telling me about a kewl new networking method yesterday.. I just found the site via ArsTechnica. You should check it out.. can anyone say "I've Got the Power"?
Laz has been busy with his site.. he better be, he's got time to burn. I hope he's enjoying Mechwarrior 3. I tried out the demo at his place, and although it was much more arcady than Mechwarrior 2, it was still quite fun.
Broomball was fun as always. We didn't have enough people show up, and since y team was outclassed by Mr. Broomball's team, we mixed up the players a bit. 6-5 with Mr. Broomball and Riston (arguably our two best players) on the small team. After going up 2-0, I thought we had the game in the bag, but in the last ten minutes of the game, they got 3 goals.. making it 4-2. Man.. even Renee got one too.. gee. (Not saying that she was bad or anything, but that she's never gotten a goal and I felt dumb for not covering her.. uhh.. watching her.. uh.. whatever)
That's it for now. I got just about no food at home.. lots of canned stuff, so I guess it'll be clam chowder tonight.. mmm.. clam chowder..
