We had a heat alert yesterday which I didn't hear about until this morning, but I guess it would've been pretty obvious given how warm and sticky it was during our rollerblading excursion. Well, apparently it's going to get a lot worse today. Goody. Now it's a heat emergency, with a forecasted humidex of over forty-five degrees! Aie chihuahua! *relaxes in air conditioned room*

Today I went to KFC to pick up lunch. No, I didn't actually have any chicken myself (ordered the poutine) but I was getting stuff for DP. When I got there, there was this Chinese girl, (5'6", long dark hair, medium build, nice figure, wearing a sun dress) who at first glance was pretty darned cute! But as I waited in line, stealing the occasional glance, my mind started taking apart all of the individual aspects of this girl and analyzing each bit until I came up with the conclusion: Average. I do that so often too! What's up with that? Mind you, there are times it's gone the other way (average to cute) but it's uberrare.
What the..? Oh my lord! I nearly habitually clicked an "OK" button for a "Incoming message window". In reality, it was just a pop-up from a website. Crazy..

It seems like we've got another heat alert for tomorrow. Goody, not looking forward to it. I was just checking news and came across an article from the ShackNews about some swimmers celebrating clean beaches who couldn't swim due to pollution, and from ArsTechnica, someone please tell me that this is a joke but the name for the next installment of Star Wars is Attack of the (Killer) Clones. Okay, so I threw "Killer" into that, but come on people! What are they thinking?!?
