[12:47 PM EDT - More sleep needed.]

When I think of you, I don't know what to do. When will I see you again?

Ugh, I didn't get much sleep last night. I got home around five and got up around eleven. Of course, now I can't go bad to sleep. *yawn* Oh boy I'm going to be tired today..

Hey, I forgot about the care package weirDo left me when I went to Waterloo. I knew I was going to check out D2:LoD, but I forgot that he also gave me Half-Life: Blue Shift! Oh yeah! Time to see how good Barney-boy is huh?

[Monday, July 30, 2001: Out to the boonies; In to the lake.]

I was convinced by girl to go out of town with her to visit one of he friends who's living out of town. So we went downtown to pick up HR and drop off some stuff before heading out. Well, funny enough, none of us remembered that Caribana was in full swing, and we ended up smack in the middle of it. Oops. Boy was the music loud, boy where there lots of people, boy was traffic slow. It would've been interesting if we had planned to stop by and check it out, but I was doing quick calculations in my head and figured that we'd be late getting back if we stopped at all so urged that we continue on our quest out of town. I needed sleep because I didn't get any the night before, and I really didn't want to get up late for Monday.

Boy, I guess I'm going to cut this short, I'm too tired to really write up something coherent right now.

Anyway, after a bit of waving around town, we were able to get out and go out to visit the friend. They owned some farmland and had a nice (big) house out in the middle of it. We went out to walk around the grounds and play with the dogs. We stayed until sundown before heading back into town to go by the lake.

girl needed to drop something off and we ended up going down by the harborfront to visit one of her other friends. This friend had a nice little place near the lake. We were able to go to the roof of the building and look around. What a nice view! We could see so much of the downtown cityline as well as.. well, just about everything. It was a very nice view, and it's a great place to hang out and relax..

But we couldn't stay. I was getting ready to collapse and it was getting late. We made it back home and I was ready to hit the sack when something felt a little moist. Rubbing my nose, I noticed something on my finger I didn't want to see: Blood. Goody, of all the times..

So, instead of collapsing into bed as I was want to do, I had to stay up and nurse my vigorous circulation so that I wouldn't make a mess of the bed. How come you always seem to bleed faster, for longer, when you want to go to sleep? Dang, it just didn't want to clot! Maybe I'm just a freak who's got an artery that goes to the nose just so that I could bleed profusely. *grumbles*

Anyway, the bleeding did subside, and I decided to bear with the trickle that was still refusing to stop and went to sleep. (Late again I might add.)
