[9:51 AM EDT - Last day.]

Do I ever cross your mind, anytime?

I was listening to the radio this morning and although it doesn't apply to me, I heard about two of the best (as in most effective) pick up lines a girl can say to a guy. I doubt the percentages, but the best line to use is:

"Hi."

That registered a 97% success rate. Well, I know that "Hi." would work for me, but 97% success rate? Oh yeah, the second best pickup line is:

"Would you like another beer?"

Which had a 91% success rate. I guess I'd be in the 9%.

Oh hey, I just called off to fix a printer problem. After a few seconds of terror (not knowing what was going on) I got it to work! Yay! And you thought that getting in and out of the car wouldn't get it to start..

Alright, the weather today is supposed to be warm and muggy, but why does it have to be so in here? I think the air conditioning's on the blitz again. I'll give it a couple of hours before I start complaining.

[12:40 PM EDT - Rolling Hills.]

Apparently there's some sort of charity event up at Rolling Hills on the 29th. Hmm, I'll have to look into it.

[6:26 PM EDT - I've been tricked!]

Argh! The DEVLDR problem didn't go away, and now I have no sound management software. Grr..

Let's see now, stuff to talk about. On the drive back home, I got stuck in a very large traffic jam. The 407 rarely gets that much traffic due to the fact tht the highway is tolled, but even so, there are still quite a number of commuters who use that highway because it's fast and convenient. Well, with the amount of volume that was filling up the highway, fast was no longer one of it's attributes. Erk. It doubled my travel time today. Actually, I got stuck behind a blue car for a while. There were two kids in the back (girls I think) and to pass the time, one of them did the pumping motion with her arm every time a rig passed by. She had a success rate of 33%, which is pretty good considering how many trucks passed by during that time.

I spent the last hour of work sifting through some old entries of mine. Ahh, the memories. (I even fixed up some of the spelling errors!) Man, I can't spell/type for beans huh?

Let's see. I went to Mr. Sub for lunch again today. The restaurant has a couple of plastic tables and chairs placed outside for anyone who was interested in basking in the sun, but the heat/wind probably wasn't a great draw for that type of venue. The wind was not too bad, but the gusts were pretty powerful, and when I was there a couple of days ago the wind knocked down and blew away a couple of the chairs. I was eating inside at that time, and saw one guy who had just bought his sub throw it into his car, walk over to pick up the chairs and place them back where they belonged before getting back in and driving off. Now that's a good role model huh? After I polished off my lunch, I noticed that the wind had blown the chairs away again so I went outside and put them back in their proper spots before driving back to work. Today, when I went in to grab a couple of subs, I noticed that a few chairs and a table had been knocked down. It was busy inside, with a rather large lineup, so I took the time to go out and clean up the mess. I don't know if the guys behind the counter noticed, but they gave me an extra cookie. =)

[6:29 PM EDT - Summer Rush.]

Hey, the summer rush is coming, and I keep hearing about it every time I listen to the radio. (Well, one radio station in particular.) The list is impressive: Sash!, Rockelle, Lil Suzy, Ian Van Dahl, Daddy DJ, Chris Sheppard, and now Joee and Tamara, and a whole bunch more. (For ninteen bucks!) If you don't recognize the names, then you don't listen to dance/freestyle so don't worry about it.
