[9:38 AM EDT - Break the wave?]

Well, it's cloudy outside and there's a possibility of rain so we might be getting out of this latest heat wave huh?

We'll see. At least I'm not in the hot office anymore so I don't have to worry about sweating buckets in the afternoon. Okay, back to work.

[1:26 PM EDT - Scene Survey: Disorderly, personalitywise.]

Hmm.. I skipped by FlyingS's site and noticed that he had a link up for some personality disorder test. I'll take a look at it when I get back home.

[10:36 PM EDT - Badminton reunion.]

Holy crap is it ever humid out there. Was it just me, or was it even more hot and humid after I got out of work? Apparently it rained today, since I saw the puddles as I went out to pick up lunch, but even now, geez Louise, it's like a sauna out there! If it were sunny, I don't think people would even think about going outside!

Fortunately, the community centre was air conditioned, and this included the gym, so even if it was hot and humid outside, it wasn't so bad inside (even with a couple dozen sweaty people heating up the room).

Badminton was pretty good, but something interesting happened. Apparently, a couple that was playing with us for a while (and have known Sam for several years) apparently knew Sam's brother! It seems as if they had played badminton together years before but lost touch.

To top it off, I saw someone I hadn't seen in seven years! Again, this was at badminton and again, I had played badminton with this person before. Actually, after hearing about the coincidental meeting with Sam's brother, I was thinking that maybe it was a good day to meet people from the past. That's when I saw someone playing on one of the courts that I thought I recognized. I mean, she looked very similar to AC but..

Then she turned around and waved at me. Oh my lord, it WAS AC!! Holy crap, what were the odds?!? Anyway, this kid hasn't changed a bit in seven years. I kid you not, she still looks like a kid! Wow. Well, I talked with her for a while, but eventually ran out of small talk, which was okay since I was going to leave anyway. Man, I'm still pretty surprised with these turn of events..

[10:42 PM EDT - Half-Life = Bad?]

Oh yeah, well informed reporters again (this time down under) with the scoop on Half-Life. I found this link at the ShackNews.
