[10:16 AM EDT - Civic holiday.]

Holiday.. celebrate! Ah, aren't holidays great? We should have more I say! Hey, we could be like the Romans and have one out of three days in the year as a holiday! Wouldn't that be great?

Or maybe not.

No plays yet for today, but I have a couple of ideas..

[1:22 PM EDT - Grad profile?]

I got the Alumni Newsletter in the mail a few days ago, but I forgot to mention something interesting I found in there. Usually I just see the cover and throw it into the circular filing cabinet, but this time I decided to flip through the pamphlet. Reaching the end of the newsletter, I came across a grad profile on.. CJF?!? Wait.. what do they mean by grad profile? This kid won't graduate for another year! (At least! *ducks*) I find it quite amusing that there's a story about CD in a newsletter that few of her friends and fewer people who would know her would probably ever see. "Grad" profile.. *shakes head*

[11:15 PM EDT - Initial DVD.]

I'm getting a strange urge to purchase the Initial D DVD sets. I found a couple of sites selling the first stage and second stage box sets for 120 and 65 USD respectively. FlyingS sent me a link to a new Initial D box set coming out as well.

Hmm..

[11:27 PM EDT - Roller Hour 2.]

Let's see now, this afternoon, I called up Werdna and Laz to get together so that we could rollerblade. I find out later that Dangerman was coming to town, so we were able to convince him to come along as well. Jules dropped by for something and I was able to convince her and girl to join in the fun. Soon enough, we had six people ready to tackle the slippery paths of Milliken on this ungodly hot and humid day! Madness!

Actually, it was quite fun. One of us did end up falling, but the trip was fairly injury free. The heat wasn't as bad as I expected it to be once I got used to it, and the paths were generally clear of pedestrians. Quite a serendipidous turn of events.

Afterward, I went out with the boys to eat dinner (Pho) and watch 'Rush Hour 2'. Funny movie, but nothing spectacular. Typical Jackie Chan fare but with a better plot. (Or, I might say, WITH a plot.) Ziyi Zhang was in the movie, and showed off more of the same stuff she displayed in 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon'.

Anyway, time to go to bed.
