[10:55 AM EDT - Why is it so slow?]

What's up with my network connection? I can't seem to access my site (or telnet in) that well. I can connect, but that's as far as it goes, while http access is absolute crap! What the heck's hogging all the bandwidth?!?

(Maybe BEGghILOS2.ath.cx is suffering a DoS attack? Ha ha!)

Anyway, I'm glad I have this web based journal updating script handy so I can (in theory) update even if the connection goes down while I'm filling this out. *sneezes*

You know, I was fine this morning when I woke up, but the moment I stepped outside, I started sneezing like a banshee. Okay, so I exaggerate, but it's starting to get pretty bad. Actually the symptoms started showing up a couple of weeks ago, but it was like.. one sneeze every other day. A couple of days ago I got that itchy, burning feeling in my eyes, but really, things have been okay so far..

*knocks on wood*

Oh hey, the connection's back up. Good sign.

[6:35 PM EDT - Slow updates.]

Okay, now I'm having problems posting. What's up with this? There must be some sort of logjam somewhere..

Anyway, a couple people working at the office left today. So we had an impromtu pizza lunch to wish them off. Well, one of them at least.

Umm, I'll keep looking into this problem. It's really bothering me.

[7:51 PM EDT - Supported by net.]

Hey hey! I finally got Net Support up and running on my computers. Cool little toy it is indeed! Now I don't even need a monitor or keyboard for my peripheral system, which should mean much less clutter down there. It also has a power on ability for WOL capable systems (which my computer is), so I can turn it on and off with impunity!

Mind you, since the printer and scanner's in the other room, I still have to journey over there to complete any transaction, but this is a good way to access the features on that system without having to get out of my seat. Another point for the Lay-Z-boy! *reclines*

[8:56 PM EDT - No stars on Mars.]

Heh. I forgot about this. I was reading the Star this morning over breakfast and came across a review for the movie 'Ghosts of Mars' and to my astonishment, I didn't see any stars on the rating. Taking a closer look, I realized that there was a rating: NO STARS. (In big, bold letters no less.) Man, this is the first time I've seen a movie reviewed in the paper garnering no stars. It gave me quite a chuckle.
