Argh! My hunch was correct! The reason why I was having problems connecting to and e-mailing from my system at home was because one of the DNS servers was FUBARed. Why I didn't fix it earlier.. actually, I know why. I had no trouble getting out, so I never noticed how hard it was to get in until I tried to get in from work. *shakes head* How strange.
Last summer when I was still living in Waterloo, I remember exploring the city and the parks because I had nothing better to do, and I was a little ashamed that I didn't actually find out more about the cities I was living in. One day, I found myself down at Victoria Park and happened upon a bridal group that was busy taking pictures of everyone and anything that moved. I didn't pay much attention to them, but the moment I passed by, the male components of the party spontaneously burst into song:
"If at first you don't succeed (first you don't succeed)
Then dust yourself off and try again
You can dust it off and try again, try again.."
I was quite impressed by their harmony although I didn't really recognize the song. It took a couple more months before I actually got to hear it. *nods* Good song. RIP Aaliyah.

Well, changing the DNS server helped my e-mail but I needed a httpd reboot to get the web server back to speed. I found that kind of odd considering that I rebooted by sendmail server before changing the DNS and it worked fine..
How bizarre, how.. ahem.
I hope it works for the rest of the world now.

Whoa, another loss, another good game. Hey, at least we put up a fight for the first ten minutes! Mind you, had we put on any more of a fight, it would've been very dark by the time we had finished.
Anyway, after the game, we headed out to Swiss Chalet for dinner. Umm.. that's about it I guess. I'm too hot to write much now. Man, don't you find it hot? *turns on fan*
