Spent most of the night playing CS with Laz. Had some interesting situations there, but usually only when Laz and I were separated. For example, there was a time when I was a CT and he was T in Dust 2. We had rushed the Ts twice and mauled them. This time, they started rushing in towrads us. I ended up in the melee a little late and parked myself in the building next to the big box. For some reason, all of the Ts went in the building, and went right, towards the stairs. So I pinged them off one at a time. I think I had six kills in that one. *eyes widen* Crazy stuff.
Anyway, onto non-gaming news. Well, one gaming news thing. Apparently, some retailors are pulling MS Flight Simulator because of the theory that some of the terorrist pilots used that software to learn to fly. In related news, it seems like the US is even closer to war. Finally: Mmm.. Fungus.. I know KGL wants some.. *wink*

Hey, I got a call last night about roller hockey. It seems as if the third group of people I play roller hockey with are still continuing operations, so I've got a game tomorrow.
I also got a call this afternoon (I was still asleep) informing me that there was still badminton on Thursdays! Well, at least for this week. Unfortunately, I've got Ski Patrol now so I won't be able to attend. Wah.
What the.. it's nearly four?!? Man, I really slept in late today. The sun's getting low too. Hmm..

I noticed something when I was playing CS last night. When I had NS6.1 open, even when it was minimized, CS ran like a pig in mud. I was getting an FPS of around 13, and I don't know how I used to play like that, I just couldn't play at that speed anymore. Once I closed the program, I went back up to a respectable 30-50, but man, I didn't realize how many resources NS6 sucked up..

Not much to talk about ATM, but I noticed that the Return to Wolfenstein demo is out. Ahh, memories of Castle Wolfenstein. *remenisces* Man I got so freaked out by that game, especially those bulletproof sergents!
