[9:54 AM EDT - Cough. Hack.]

Ack, darn these coughing fits! I've been getting them more and more frequently of late. Maybe I should stop half-swallowing when I drink. Lungs are not designed to hold water.

Let's see, what else. Not much. Got lots of work ahead, and ultimate tonight. Ahh, apparently ultimate's supposed to start this weekend too.. Hmm..

[2:04 PM EDT - Energy 95.3.]

I knew that one of the stations that I listened to on a regular basis was changing channels. However, I usually didn't pay attention to the station number that they were changing to and when the change date came a month ago, I realized that the music I was hearing was a little on the old school side. Twenty to thirty years old school. Because of that, I didn't listen in to that station long enough to catch any of the announcements of the switchover even though I left the station in memory. Well, just today I caught the tail end of the announcement while flipping channels and when I went to the new location. There it was! Wow, listening has it's privledges.

I went to pick up lunch for myself. Went out on a limb and got a soup and sandwich deal from Tim's. While I was driving away, I noticed that my drink had a strange orange tinge to it. Hmm, iced tea isn't supposed to look orange right? I took a sip and it had a tangy aftertaste. This ain't no iced tea. *makes face* I got back to the office and took a closer inspection of my drink and noticed that although it was orange, it wasn't orange juice (or orange drink) the closest guess as to what type of drink this is is peach. I don't eat peaches. I don't drink peaches.

To add insult to injury, they didn't give me a straw either. Grr..

I'm drinking it anyway. I paid for it right?

[9:32 PM EDT - Box.]

Whoa, first time on phone with unhappy customer. It wasn't bad, but I could see how bad it could've been it if were an irate customer. Now that wouldn't be a pretty sight. Ah well, it's something I'll have to learn to handle eventually.

Anyway, went to play some pickup, but only seven people showed up (including me) and I was very late due to work, and they had already set up the box. I had never played Box before, it's basically an inner and outer box configuration. The inner box is the goal area, while the outer box denotes the clear zone. You have to clear the disc out of the outer box before you can send it into the inner box. Play is continuous after each point. It can get tiring after a while since there aren't any breaks. It was fun though, considering that we had so few people.

Then again, there were a lot of mosquitos. *scratches bite* Darned nuisance.

Ah, time to do some more coding..

[9:38 PM EDT - All or.. the same?]

One thing I forgot to mention was that I heard on the radio the Back Street Boys (although Stripes calls them the Back Door Boys) most recent song. I could've sworn I was hearing O-Town's "All or Nothing", but no, the song was different. After the fifth bar. Geez, and I thought Westlife's "Swear it Again" was cutting it close. *shakes head* Pop is definitely becoming less diverse.

[11:02 PM EDT - News that gets you chicks.]

Whatever. Is divorce contagious? While they're deciding what to do with bin Laden here's some more food for thought. (Links from the ShackNews.)

[11:31 PM EDT - Show and Hide.]

I've changed the plus/minus image thing to a Show/Hide button. I don't think it's that much more obvious what it does tho. Hmm.. Anyway, I've noticed people have been putting up a flurry of updates, FlyingS, MJO, KGL, and Tiffi come to mind. I think Laz probably did to, but I'm having a heck of a time trying to access his site. Whta's up with his cable connection? He gets amazing pings on CS, but you can't read his homepage..

Hmm, now that I think about it, the new layout for my site will make downloads somewhat larger. That nav menu takes up a huge chunk of the bandwidth, and to be honest, I doubt anybody ever uses it anyway. What to do..
