[11:04 AM EDT - Up and about.]

Ohh.. I nearly forgot about the ultimate game this afternoon! Fortunately, I didn't get up in the afternoon like yesterday, but I still don't have that much time to get dressed and eat.

*pause*

I'll play some CS.

[3:58 PM EDT - Fall season.]

The fall season of ultimate has started today. The weather was pretty good for it actually. Sunny, a little breezy, and cool. It was still warmer than I would've liked (ude mostly to the sun) but it's still much better than the humid and sticky weather we had during the playoffs. We only had six people show up, but fortunately, one team had defaulted so we ended up splitting some of that team for our game.

I don't know if I'll make it out to roller hockey tonight. Hmm..

[4:09 PM EDT - Who's jennifar?]

I got some strange e-mail this afternoon. It was written out to jennifar from some girl by the name of mimi with a web link attached. Okay.. I decided to check out if this jennifar username actually existed on sciborg and.. nope. No jennifar. Curious, I checked it out (with Lynx of course), and it gave me some japanese bondage video site. Stupid spam.

I got a call about roller hockey and for some reason confirmed my attendance. *hangs head* How do I keep talking myself into these things?!?

[9:51 PM EDT - Big puddles.]

I forgot my cleats this afternoon (for ultimate). It didn't make that much of a difference since we seemed to be playing more for fun than anything else. Actually, just about all of our ultimate games are for fun, since we generally expect to lose. (Well, at least I do.) We won this one BTW.

I made it to roller hockey a few minutes late. When I got there, I realized something was amiss since there were so few people in the rink. One quick glance told the story. The rink was wet. It wasn't flooded or anything, but there were puddles everywhere. After standing around for a few minutes, we (more like I) decided to go and try to clear out the water. I mean, they're only puddles right? When we started trying to spread the water with our sticks, it seemed as if things should progress pretty smothly since there didn't seem to be that much water. (Around 30% of the rink was wet.) But when we checked out the big puddle in the middle, I saw that it was an inch deep. There's no way we could spread out THAT much water with our sticks. We spent the next hour or so trying to evapourate as much of the water as we could (we later had one of those large school brooms to help us) but we realized that there was no hope to clear it all off before the sun set. Had we known about it sooner..

Anyway, we still had a small game on the parts of the rink that were dry. It was okay, but I hope my bearings don't rust..

Afterward, I headed up to meet the crew at Laz's place. When I got there, I didn't see the van, and I didn't recognize the car in front. Dejected, I headed back home. As I was heading back, I suddenly realized that someone was actually renting a car! That could explain why I didn't recognize the car in front. I quickly pulled a U-turn and headed back to the house. RInging the doorbell brought out the parental units from whom I found out that Laz and crew had already gone out for dinner! Curses! Fortunately, they were able to call them to find out where they were going.

The dinner crew was the same last last week's with Werdna as our only addition. In fact, the dinner was exactly the same as well except for an extra dish. Strange, strange. As we were paying the bill, girl asked how much it cost us, and I told her that it was around forty-four.. forty-five dollars. She took a look in the pot and figured that there was enough, while Dangerman commented:

"Sure, forty dollars is enough."

Sure enough, there was only forty dollars in the pot. Some people need to relearn simple arithmatic huh?!?

[10:08 PM EDT - Uh oh, news.]

Hey, I don't think I'll be playing CS for a little while until they patch this. This national card thing can be a little worrisome, although if they combine it with other governmental offices, we may only need one card instead of a SIN, driver's licence, Health Card, etc. Mind you, this is only if Canada decides to follow the US's footsteps (if they decide to agree with Ellison). Ah yes, that thing I mentioned on Friday? Well, apparently there's nothing to it. Finally, they found water on the moon, so why not ice on Mercury? (I like the probe's name.)
