When I got out of the house to go to my CPR training, I noticed that the car was outside. (After I had opened the garage door of course.) Since the morning was very foggy, the windows were all covered in dew, and it took a while for the steam to come off the inside of the windshield. Actually, the drive was a little dangerous. The fog hindered viewing anything beyond forty meters, and even the bright headlights were difficult to see. The fact that a significant portion of drivers didn't turn on their lights meant that I couldn't see many vehicles until they were nearly upon me. I made it alive though. There weren't any crazy drivers out in my area.
Anyway, CPR went fairly well. I still remembered most of the stuff that was taught the last time I took a CPR course, except that they changed some of the parts, namely - no abdominal thrusts on unconcious people. That definitely surprised me, although it did make training that much easier.
After I got back, I got together with Laz, girl, and Dangerman and ended up spraining my ankle. Argh! I can barely put weight on it right now. This means that ultimate, roller hockey, badminton and broomball are out for the week. *shakes fist* Ah well, it gives me time to do some reading and catching up on e-mail. *sigh*
We played some Liar's Dice and ate dinner afterward. Oh, Dangerman pulled a end-of-dinner girl comment today after looking at the bill. I don't remember the exact quote, but it went something like:
"See, this place is much less expensive than [restaurant]."
Uhh.. isn't this [restaurant]? Hee hee..
