[10:06 AM EDT - Getting packed.]

Got a tutoring thing to do tonight. Hopefully I won't forget. I've also got word that I'll be playing ice hockey this Friday and that Badminton will be starting up next Monday. (Games are on Mondays and Thursdays.) Geez, I think Wednesdays will be free, and Tuesdays will be filled with broomball when it starts up next month. Oh boy. The weekends look okay.. for now.

[11:59 AM EDT - Whoa, this is what happens when you don't have a link.]

I haven't been able to access Laz's site for the past few days due to connection problems, but I just chekced now and noticed a rather long commentary by Growly on the impending Afghan invasion. It's a quite interesting read if you're into that stuff. I agree with Growly that if the Americans do enter Afghanistan, it'll be a different war. The Americans won't be trying to take power, they won't be trying to take the country, they'll be there to destroy power and clear the territory. Furthermore, there's no major ally on the Taliban's site that may be able to support them with arms, information and expertise. However, I'm not sure if invading Afghanistan is a good idea. This is from a public relations/goodwill standpoint. However, that point is debatable. A question I've got running in my head is what if bin Laden is captured before Afghanistan is invaded? The Taliban were in a dicey situation when the States demanded them to hand him over. If they do, they anger the exteremists that they represent, and if they don't they face retribution from the "devil" himself. Their best bet? Tell bin Laden to run and hope the Americans believe them when they tell Dubuya that he disappeared. Then again, he might still be hiding in the country. *shrug* I'm glad I'm no politician, I'd be too frozen by indecision to get anything done.

[9:55 PM EDT - Daargoth's Lair.]

This is the CS site I've been trying to get on most of the time now. They've got a number of custom maps, and there's a lot of talking. Talking is good. Too bad nobody usually listens. Anyway, the stats are here.

[11:54 PM EDT - Cool and wet.]

It was a pretty bleak day weatherwise today. Wet and cold. I don't like the wet, but I like the cold. Come on frost!! Actually, my allergies have been doing pretty well lately. It's already the end of September, so I'm over the hump, but it's annoying that it happens every year.

Saw the rainbow as I was heading to my car to go home. Always a nice site.
