[9:44 AM EDT - Halfway through.]

Halfway through the week. I think this week will seem longer than the previous ones. I don't know why, but I have a feeling..

Well, perhaps it's because I had my monthly moment of abject terror on Monday. *thinks* Okay, back to work.

[4:16 PM EDT - Mr. Dressup.]

I just happened across FlyingS's page and found out that Ernie Coombs died today. I heard that he had a stroke a few days back and was in the hospital and from the reports, I knew that it was serious. (So I can't really say that I didn't expect him to die.) I still remember watching his show when I was younger, and wondering in my old age whether Casey was a guy or a girl (after RFV brought up the subject). Anyway, FlyingS has a couple of links up. Here's one of them..

[6:24 PM EDT - Tinker, tinker.]

Hey, I guess I'm not the only one being hit by that Chinese robot. Laz has been hit by the same.. actually, I'm not sure if it's the same robot, but the one that's been sifting through all (and I mean all) of my files leads here.

I've been playing around with CSS as well. I think you're able to call up multiple style sheets, which may actually be a way around the NS4 padding problem..

What else? I've got to tutor tonight. Afterward, I hope to get my hands on CS 1.3. As if! Maybe Laz will be able to get it and I could siphon it off him..

[9:48 PM EDT - The Catcher in the Rye.]

Man, this is such a bizarre book. It's like someone took some guy's thoughts for a day and threw it into novel form. I don't think I've read so many "goddam"s in any other novel. Dang. (Which means damn.)

Anyway, I'm just about finished it. It's a quick read, but I've been awfully busy of late. Ski Patrol's tomorrow, and I've got to bring money. Remind me!

Lemme see, I gave up trying to download HL and CS, but I bet Laz already has a copy of CS by now. (I know he's got the HL patch already.) I'm eager to try it out, but what happened to all my free time I used to have? *blinks* Oh yeah, all gone into the black hole they call coding..

Well, not tonight. I had a tutorial and I plan to finish off "The Catcher in the Rye". Oh, I'm also planning to switch formats tonight. I need a way to switch between layouts however (I noticed that people are still using NS4 - okay maybe five percent). Hmm..

[10:21 PM EDT - Three times.]

I've made most of the major modifications I wanted to make (although there are some more changes, but I can't be bothered). Darned download is now three times normal size for an entry! Three times!! It's bigger than Laz's journal entries! What's up with that?!?

Anyhoo, it's time to test this badboy out huh? (At least it'll keep my mind off of CS.)

[11:50 PM EDT - William Holden Caulfield.]

You know, I had completely forgotten about that song by Too Much Joy until I started reading "The Catcher in the Rye". Oh yeah, I finished it BTW. It's very much a snapshot of depression. (I mean, how can you hate so many people normally?) Anyway, next up on the list is "Shoeless Joe". It'll be a little longer read than the other novels (except "Taliesin").

Sleep sounds good about now..
