[10:16 AM EDT - Sundays are bad.]

It's another chilly one out there today. Apparently I the first beach volleyball game is scheduled for a Sunday. That's bad. But I'll look into it.

[7:54 PM EDT - Who's got a new car?]

Hey hey! It seems like FlyingS made the big leap from pedestrian to driver this past weekend. Well, in theory at least. Now I can start asking him for rides! *thinks* On the other hand..

Further south, Tiffi's found a new crush, and out to the West, NVM's been knitting. I think.

This will be a night of rest before Ski Patrol, shinny hockey, a housewarming party, ultimate, roller hockey and pickup ultimate. Yikes. Maybe I should go to bed.

*fires up CS*

[10:14 PM EDT - Who needs assets anyway?]

Argh! I just spent the past two hours reorganizing my bookkeeping and asset management. (At least part of it.) This is definitely not my line of work. I wonder how accountants can do it so easilly. I mean, if I were an accountant, I would've shot myself by now! *rubs eyeballs*

Actually, this was an informative expereince. I've been able to (finally) decipher (more-or-less) how my funds have been doing over the past couple of years (well, I only had them for a couple of years now) and I realized that I lost a nice chunk of it. Well.. I'd say I'm down 10% or so, which is not particularly good.

Time to buy more!

[10:26 PM EDT - Another bug.]

Argh! Those Creative guys still can't put together a working driver for the Live! Value 2 I've got. I installed new drivers for the sound card because the microphone didn't seem to work with the drivers I was using (which was recent a couple of months ago). The new drivers got the mike working fine, and the sound is pretty good overall, but what irks me is that after the sound card is utilized in CS, shutting down the computer results in a system reboot. After which I can shutdown the computer. It's a minor inconvenience, except that it also wipes out my temporary internet files. Why does it do that? *exasperated look*

Anyway, I found out about this on the ShackNews, but I read about it initially on ArsTechnica this afternoon. Yeah, I can see those script kiddies spending the rest of thier lives behind bars.. (not)
