[9:42 AM EDT - Joe Louis.]

I skipped breakfast this morning. My mom was insistant that I take along some snacks to work today. "Take some Mae Wests" she said. *looks* Aren't they Joe Louis? *gets handed a couple of packages* *looks at packaging* Joe Louis.

No wonder why I'm normally bad at product recognition.

Actually, I used to like these snacks, and I only liked them when it was someone else's snack. For some reason, everytime I brought one to school, it would end up smushed and crushed, broken into an indeterminant number of pieces. On the other hand, the ones that the rest of the kids would bring would be in pristine condition, an a bility that always eluded me no matter how carefully I handled my lunch bag, or how gently I carried my knapsack.

*stares at Joe Louis*

Hmm.. maybe I should have breakfast now..

[12:55 PM EDT - Mixed signals.]

This ankle of mine is really annoying. I mean, one moment, it seems fine, and the next moment I'm cringing in pain. I thought I'd be fully healed last night cuz I was walking around pretty well, but this morning I revised my recovery time to a month when I could barely stand in the washroom. Stupid ankle. *kicks ankle*

*rolls around in pain*

In other news, Mike Harris is retiring. If you don't know who this is, you can skip the next paragraph. This act brings to mind a certain Prime Minister who retired during a downturn in the economy, just as his party's popularity was hitting rock bottom. Anyone want to predict how the next election's going to go?

Okay, time for lunch, but apparently there were a number of calls while I was out..

[3:02 PM EDT - Who could ask for anything more?]

I got this gem from RH just now. Whether it's true or not, it's still a great joke.
