Ugh. just got back from the ski swap at Pickering. I am in need of rest. All that standing around can't be that good for you. Anyhoo, let's see what I've missed in the past 24 hours.

How the heck did I end up buying orange skis?!? Ah well, at least I own a pair of skis now, and boots, and poles. All I'm missing at this point is the outerwear. Maybe I should get a helmet too..
So the plan for today was to wake up early and make it to the ski swap at nine (when it started) and leave early. Sometime around two or three. Well, things don't usually go as planned in my life. (Which is why I rarely plan anything.) I had set my alarm to go off at 7:25. I remember hearing it go off, and I remember the first moment I recalled hearing the time being announced: 9:10. That got me out of bed. I figured that since I was late, I might as well have a semi-decent breakfast (toast and butter). I got to the complex (in Pickering) at eleven. I recognized two people there, which was more than I had expected to actually.
Not much to talk about. I basically helped out at the cashiers, taking off tags and handling equipment. I bumped into AC who recognized me immediately, although I didn't initally make the connection with him. (His face is a lot fuller.) That's about it. Not very exciting, although I did talk to a fair number of people there.
Now all I have to do is to wait for snow..
