[9:54 AM EDT - Outage.]

From what I can tell, we had a power outage last night. It doesn't seem to make too much sense to be, since my clock is still at the correct time (albiet blinking), but the router got frazzled, which is always a good indicator of power loss. I should get that UPS soon!

[4:06 PM EDT - Blading in heat.]

Oh boy is it hot out there. It's such a nice day however. I'm glad I actually did get to go outside to enjoy the weather even though I tend to abhore high temperatures (and high humidity).

As an aside, I was able to fix my D2 characters. Yay!

[Monday, August 6, 2001: Pacific blading.]

I got a call from Laz telling me that he and Dangerman were going to Pacific Mall to find a keychain. I figured I might as well tag along since I didn't have anything else to do. Actually, while I'm here, I might as well mention that there was a Toronto Star article about Pacific Mall recently. (I might like to add this article about IQ and EQ not being inversely proportional.)

Uhh, so where was I? Oh yeah, so Laz picked me up and we waited at the mall for Dangerman. After wandering around the mall looking for the keychain (we eventually found something close enough in the last store of the mall) we hung around in the arcade while waiting for M. There were some interesting games in there. They had a lot of those interactive music ones (like DDR, the drums one, keyboard one, hand one, etc.) and some boxing type games where you have to punch and move around. Man, who says you can't get exercise at the arcade these days?

Uhh, let's see.. we then had dinner at a chinese restaurant (I forgot the name) and the topic of conversation always seemed to have us comparing the females that we saw around us. Laz and Dangerman thought one of the waitresses was cute, but Michael and I totally disagreed with their analysis. Ick. I think the girls down in Pacific Mall were much more interesting to look at. (Albiet it was probably due to the sheer volume which, if you assume the same proportion of good looking girls to not-so-good looking girls, you'd get a greater number of them - you just tend to ignore the not-so-good looking ones so it seems like there's a lot more.)

Anyhoo, I had to go back home because we had guests coming over. So, I got to meet a couple of people and we went blading with DL and J. Well, most of us did. Since we didn't all have blades, A biked while E walked/ran. We went to the parks and around the neighborhood before figuring that it was getting a little dark and heading back.

That's about it I guess.
