[9:57 AM EDT - Day 3.]

TCD: 322

So we'll soon hear about the location of the 2008 olympics. *yawn*

Woke up late this morning. Funny how that happened because I went to bed early last night. Also interesting was that I was one of the few people who got in this morning. Where the heck is everyone?!? (Probably down at the waterfront enjoying the festivities..)

[2:21 PM EDT - Lunch excursion.]

TCD: 200

It's nice to be busy ya know? Keeps my mind occupied. Anyway, I went out for my usual lunch voyage. This time I was given a rather large list of items to get. I was a little worried that I might forget but..

On the way to the car, I saw some guy walking his dog. Well, letting the dog do it's business actually. As I came by the dog saw me and started to stare. As I came closer, the dog tried to approach me, becoming more urgent and forceful as the distance closed. I'm not sure what type of dog it was, but if anyone's ever read Tintin, it looked like Snowy (although with dark brown splotches). I knelt down beside the critter and he/she slobbered all over my hand and did it's usual dog stuff before he allowed himself to be dragged off by the owner. "I guess you check out." he commented. Goody. *looks at not-so-dry hand*

When I went to park the car, I was surprised at the number of spots that were available. There weren't very many. Usually that part of the lot was quite empty, so it came to me as a shock that there would be so many vehicles sitting around. I pulled up into one spot and saw some guy talking on his cell phone and looking at his rear tire: It was flat. I thought of offering some help, but there was quite a bit of stuff to get and I didn't write anything down, so I figured that I'll check up on him on the way back to the car.

I forgot to mention this before, but when I walked in to make my order, the lady behind the counter (it was the guy last time) looked at me and asked. "Regular assorted?" Whoops, I've been going there too often methinks. While the guy was cutting up my sub, he asked me who the other sub was for. I told him it was for a co-worker. "She?" he inquired. *shakes head* "He." And that was that.

On the way back to the car, I was surprised (yet again) when I looked around and saw that the guy who had a flat tire was gone. Car and all. I could've sworn he went into his trunk to change the tire. Not only that, but the entire area around my car was empty. It was as if a great repulsive force eminated from my car, pushing all of the other automobiles away. Freaky.

Oops, it seems like I did forget an item on the list. Grr..

[4:32 PM EDT - Holding back.]

TCD: 200

You know, for the past several months, I've been holding back at trying new things. I guess it's one of the side effects of wanting to be with someone yet not wanting to look like you want to be with someone. You'll understand what I mean if you've been through it. Anyway, I'm really in the mood to try new stuff out now. Okay, so it's not like I'll start smoking and bar hopping or anything like that, but it would be nice to see what sorts or things there are to do out there. I haven't really done much now that I think about it, and I've caniballized most of my options over the years on the assumption that.. well, it was a poor assumtion. Anyway, the weekend approaches. I should figure out what to do huh?
