[10:09 AM EDT - Another scorcher.]

Hoe! It's a hot one out there and it's only ten! This is going to be a hot summer. *melts*

Me no like hot.

I got up late this morning. Feeling a little sore from running around yesterday. *rubs shoulders* A little R&R should do the trick. Too bad it's Tuesday. Too bad I've got stuff to do. *hangs head* No matter, we've got a long weekend coming up, and I can rest and relax all I want! *reclines*

Oh wait, we're not at the weekend yet. *puts feet back on floor*

Well, back to work.

[10:18 AM EDT - Experienced eh?]

Is this what's going to happen to XP users? (I assume it's Office XP he's using, because Office 2000 doesn't.)

[10:28 AM EDT - Wait..]

I was just perusing the homepages and noticed that Laz went to Wonderland with the Ts (and Liz). I haven't been to Wonderland since.. oh my, was it THAT long ago? Well, I definitely don't miss the lineups, I was counting up the waiting time Laz spouted off, and they were in line for over four hours! That's half the day! Madness!

I think I'll go when it rains.

In other news, KGL's got a lot of stuff up now. Some changes, and some comments about life and whatnot, while NVM's now 22. I remember when I was 22. *waves cane* Actually, I think that's how old I was the last time I went to Wonderland! My my, that was a fun summer.. *remenisces*

I heard about 'Amores Perros' while listening into the CTRL-A secret comm. I may want to check it out sometime.

Hmm, an interesting to we have here. Now all I have to do is to find a script that will do the reverse..

[2:22 PM EDT - Car talk.]

After driving out little boat for half a year, I've been through quite a number of situations where I wished I had some sort of feature. The ones that come to mind right now are:

  1. More horsepower - Having a small four cylinder engine moving the house I was driving doesn't make winter driving very easy. Getting stuck in the parking lot last winter wasn't particularly enjoyable.
  2. Power windows - I don't usually use the air conditioning, so I use the 4-60 method, but since I don't have power windows, it ends up being the 2-60 method (or 1-60 if I can't be bothered to lean over to roll down the passanger window).
  3. Tinted windows - I like sunshine, but too much and bad things happen to me. Tinted windows is a must. Especially for long drives on sunny days - I can feel the melanoma forming.
  4. (Powered) Removable Top - Okay, I had to throw this in. Not a must, but if I had the money..

This list will grow and shrink as time progresses, but hopefully, I'll have a good idea what I want from a car when it's time to start shopping for one.

While I'm on the topic of cars, before the game yesterday, we saw one of the guys from the other team drive into the parking lot in a Porsche. (It looked like a Boxster.) Come on, a twenty-something (and a young twenty-something at that) driving one of those?!? We looked at him and watched as he closed his top and got his equipment (from the front and back compartments - darned those mid-engine designs are cool), and came to the conclusion that we HAD to beat them. Which we did. Funny how things work out.

Finally, I usually don't do too many stupid driving things especially when there's someone in the car, but man, I can't believe I ended up in the middle of the road on Sunday.

Okay, enough about cars, it's time to eat.

Speaking of eating, I had a craving for poutine today, but once I got a whiff of the food (after I got it into the car) I knew I was going to regret this decision. Stupid stomach. *punches belly*

*doubles over*

[10:40 PM EDT - PDF? Go HTML!]

What was I thinking with a PDF to text converter? I can go from HTML to text! *smacks head* It's much easier that way. Besides, I can make it work for my entire site too! *nods* (Ooh, the PIT in text!)

Ahem. Anyway, I haven't been doing much today. Time goes by when you aren't doing anything huh? Well, I was working on the page, throwing up some new pictures and figuring out what sort of descriptions to give them. Hey, it's a lot more time consuming than you might think! *nods*

Anyway, I should stop for now. I've been checking out the news, and I came across a number of goodies from the ShackNews. First is about some guy who wants to build his own private rocket and launch himself (and two friends) into space! Then we've got this poor guy. *checks bookshelf for any overdue books*

Oh yeah, remember that squash chick who wants to wear a thong when playing? Well, despite being asked to wear more than a thong, they won't ban it. Come on, it wouldn't be THAT distracting would it? *stares*

While we're sort of on that topic, how many people agree with this study? I don't think I have, although I haven't been in a relationship long enough to even start thinking of other people..
