Dinner last night was pretty good. We had a hot pot dinner, and tons of food. (I thought that girl said that it was a pot luck, but I might've been mistaken.) I didn't know anyone there, well, I knew five (including me) out of the.. nine people there. Okay, so that's half, but I don't usually see these people. So there ya go. Actually, out of the nine people who showed up for dinner, two of them were guys including me! Since the other guy was awfully quiet, and since I'm normally shy, it was basically a girl's gettogether.
I'm not complaining, it was just.. the second sea of estrogen that I was swimming through in as many weeks. Actually, the girls were pretty friendly and a couple of them had some of the funniest stories..
It was all very interesting. We actually went to the supermarket to pick up some food before we went to the house. We had gotten there early to make sushi, vegetarian sushi. Had I known.. but anyway, there was no sesame oil in the house, so the boys went back to the supermarket to get some, as well as some sesame seeds. We, the boys, being the conniving little devils were were, brought back some Pockey instead. Well, we did get the sesame stuff, but we hid it. The girls didn't believe us when we told them that we had forgotten, and even after searching us they couldn't find the stuff, so there was a return trip to the supermaket for the sesame stuff as well as some satay sauce that they forgot to mention (until we were basically back at the house).
There was a lot of food as I mentioned above, much like HaremPresident's hot pot over a year ago, but we were planning for an extra three people to show up. So, JeC did a good job at stuffing all of us, filling our bowls every time she saw that it was empty. Since I have a tendency of cleaning out my bowl, I ended up getting a lot of food.. We still had tons of leftovers afterward.
Finally, we had apple crumble and ice cream for dessert. Mmm.. good stuff. Most of us also ended up doing this personality test that JoL handed out. Apparently, I'm classified as "The Comedian", while most of the rest of the group were "Travellers".
Before we knew it, it was already past midnight. Did time fly or what? Geez, it was pretty fun actually. I was surprised.

Hey, did you know that there was a hosts file in Windows 2000? I didn't know that! Why is it so important? Well, the last major hurdle with porting my site over here was the fact that the BEGghILOS2.ath.cx domain name does not map to the correct machine on my LAN. With the hosts file, I can do that now, and I won't have to do some fancy BASE HREF jiggling to see my page from within the LAN. Yay!
Oh, before I go, Laz and KGL threw up some updates yesterday while HaremPresident's looking for his twenty dollar bill on Clone*Army.

I'll probably be moving the site over tonight. Hopefully people won't be surfing around at time because things might get a little messy. Until then, I can probably go skating, or work on my Forum (which I'm still working on the details for).

Howdy doody! Here I am at Laz's place. We'll be gaming soon, but I just wanted to throw up a quick update. I've already ported my site over to my Linux box and seems to be running fine from here. Hopefully nothing's broken. *knocks on wood*
We went skating this afternoon. Well, just Werdna and I. Laz decided to opt out of skating, despite the really nice weather and the overly expensive skates at the mall. Anyway, I should be getting back to setting up the network. *yawn*
But it's getting so late..
